kopisch surname

I have a photo of my great grandfather holding a cane that has "Parczew 1910" carved into it with two of his sons standing along side of him in military uniforms.

His name was Leopold Kopisch - shortened to Kopis when his son came to the USA. I think Kopisch is really a German name. He was translator for the courts and could speak many different languages.
