I like Jaro and I think that there's no sense to vote for small parties, so there are 2 big (PO and PiS) and one medium (LID). LID sucks and I don't like people running PO.

Economically I know that PiS is very imperfect but PO isn't really better. Besides the problem in Poland is that most people don't like real capitalism because for many years politicians had been "selling" socialism (with all its mistakes) under the name of capitalism, so now many people think that capitalism = high unemployment rate, low wages etc. But PiS for the first time is calling socialism what It is (well maybe not exactly but similar - "solidarity") so there's a chance that after a few more years of "solidarna Polska" people will start changing their minds about economical policy. PO will only disattract more people from the idea of economcal liberalism.

This is possible what you wrote but still hardly justify voting against your own views. This is important to get in to parliament truly liberal party like UPR with new generation of politicians, later those disappointed people would have somebody to vote for. You imagine how hard is to create mainstream political party from zero, without media attention. I say, PiS will win this without votes of liberal minded people.

I agree with many things UPR says but don't think that they will ever get into mainstream politics.

They wont if people like you wont vote for them. Actually alliance with beautiful Roman give them unique chance to enter parliament. Once PiS also was ignored by mainstream media but finally they broke the wall. This could not be possible if they would be outside of parliament.

So back to our very serious discussion, Lukasz could you answer for these questions?

Quoting: lesser
Why PO doesn't support 15% flat tax anymore?

If they are for 19% this means that they want to decrease income tax just for small group of people. Why most of us should vote of them if they openly declare that they will continue to grab our money in the same way like commies and PiS?

What about other taxes? Will they continue to collect ridiculous and unjustified tax from pensioners?

Quoting: Lukasz
they woted for flat corporate tax (19%) even it was durring gov of SLD (now LiD) yes commies did it ;) that is why they are not so bad,

This comment also deserve a reply. I asked what PO politicians did for liberal economy since 1989 and you answered as above. Myself I would not call this really liberal solution rather step in good direction. For commies from SLD this might be really something but for self-declared liberal party??? For the matter of facts according to your response to my question PO did as much for liberal economy as commies from SLD. I need to add more? :)

With current ordination they will never have a majority in parliament. But if you are in you always may get something if you really want.

We have 22%, 7% and 3% .
7% VAT for most of everyday needs of average citizens like food.

moneta.pl/artykul/20443/2/Stawki-VAT.html

So once again, PO declare that they wont decrease income tax for vast majority of citizens. Now I learn that overall they want to raise VAT...

This is pure and simple, people don't vote for PO because this is liberal party. There must be different, I think that this is because some talking heads in TV told them that PiS is BAD and PO is COOL. This is only logical explanation.

I don't belong to this group of people that TV spot could convince them for voting to some party. Same thought that they all make these spots from money collected from all taxpayers make me sick. Why should I finance political parties that I despise?!
