Hello :D I am an American who is moving to Poland soon to be with my relatives living near Krakow. My whole family is Polish and I'm first-generation American. I know very little Polish and would love to have someone to teach me, and in return I'll teach you English (which, sadly, is the only language I am fluent in). Thank you in advance! Feel free to message me.

I am just starting to learn Polish using the google translate. But there are so many CD's you can purchase from book stores like borders and do self study. I find google translate so much better, because you can type anything you want to say from English to Polish and even it will pronouns it for you. I hope this will help. Good luck. BTW, I as in Krakow this August! I must say it is a beautiful city.

Hello
I would be interested in teaching you Polish, and in return you could teach me English and help me to improve my communication skills. The only snag is that i don't live in Cracow, but we can communicate via skype, msn etc.
If you're interested or you have more questions, just feel free to ask:)

That would be awesome! I'm actually not even moving to Krakow for a few months and I want to get a start on it. I have some learning CD's already but it's a lot easier to learn from someone else who actually lives in the country.

I also find the Google Translate is only basically reliable. It works well for words but as far as phrases or putting sentences together it doesn't always work. Try putting something in that someone else wrote in Polish and translate it to English -- it's broken and strange. Especially translating from an Asian language like Chinese, Thai or Japanese :P
