Dont care if your male or female...I'm 19 and i cannot speak to anyone in english. No offence but most people here need to be explained one word after the other and its kinda hard to talk, that way. I just hope you get what i mean when i say 'reasonable knowledge of spoken english'

"I can speak proper English" or "I can speak English properly" you meant to say.
Sorry about that Jaqueline :-)

Anyone who quotes people on the internet to correct them is an ass.

I agree - comments like these make life on PF a drag sometimes...

patrickr specifies exactly what he wants so why someone who obviously doesn't apply to his needs replies to his post. Besides, next time when you call someone an "ass...." I suggest, you take a deep look in the mirror.

BLS:
I agree

my comment above applies to you too

you guys have a great day :-)

I agree with you...Its actually not a tough deal to count the number of english words you spoke here in warsaw at the end of the day..! i unfortunately just have to keep my trap shut. We sail on the same boat.

I am 24. Not a native speaker, but my English is pretty fine.

Contact me ,we could have a social gathering something like an english weekend or something. For a change. :)

Looking for a Black Girl in warsaw

I apologise to people who feel i'm being racist but i have my own taste. I'm not black myself.

Patrick, i know you dont mean anythign bad but if you live in Warsaw maybe it is a time to learn Polish language rather then expect people to speak English! You are the gust not the other way around ;)

Just wondering, Patrick. Are you a native English speaker yourself?

Hate to rain on your parade, but I've got to agree that as long as you're living, not merely visiting, the country, it'd be kind of nice to learn at least the basics of the language, if only for the social lubrication of daily conversing-:)))
