Hello people,

I am Korean American married a Polish person. I am looking for a pen pal who expectedly I can learn conversational polish language. I can help your english or korean. My husband is Polish American, but he cannot speak the language. Someday we hope to visit his beautiful father land, to do so, I believe now is the right time to learn the language. I prefer a female friend so we have much more common to talk about each other. Also, I would be friends with polish/east asian(Korean, Japanese etc) couples if there is any. Looking forward to hear from you!

learn conversational polish language.

Does such a thing exist, or is it merely a myth?

What do you mean by a myth? you mean it is becoming a dead language? Please do explain.

Polish is very complicated, so much so that it takes a lot longer than it should to become proficient in even basic conversational Polish, as opposed to a linear language like French, Spanish or Swedish. Polish has a lot of grammatical variation to it that isn't seen in English, but maybe in Korean (of this language I know nothing).

Hello PoleLuck! I am located in Los angeles, California. I would like to translate a letter, from English to Korean, in order to contact a friend. You did mention, that you speak English however, I speak and write English and Spanish, fluently. If I could help you, in anyway, in exchange for the translation of a letter, I will greatly appreciated. Thank you very much and have a great weekend! I can be reached at merazopt@gmail(dot)com

Conversational Polish IS indeed possible, I don't agree. It is, of course, light years of difference from English, even Korean (the little I've studied in that language!). There's more of an 'grammar arsenal' required though in order to make comprehensible sense in Polish, compared perhaps with Basic English, even French or Spanish-:)

@Matowy, in what way is Swedish "linear". Never heard it described that way. I'm curious.
