A Late Beer In Gdansk?!

A group of us will be going on a football tour to Gdansk in late May. Half of us are taking a flight that arrives on a Thursday evening at 11.15pm and would like to know if there would be any drinking establishments still open at that hour so a few Brits can start our tour off properly?

Loads of "drinking establishments" are open here on a Thursday night! If you were more specific in your requirements, I could give you some advice later on.

Best you stay in your own country you scum, you are not welcome in Poland.

We're more concerned whether they're going to be open past midnight on the Thursday we arrive?

Yes, lots of them in Old Town are. To name but two, try Absinthe and Szafa. There's an Irish pub that should also be open but I've never been there. You'll have no problem finding a beer until very, very late. Where are you going to stay?

You must be desperate lol. We're a Veterns team so all players have to be over 35, actually most of the squad are the wrong side of 40! but it's still a fairly good standard. All I know is that we're playing in a 3 team tournament on the Friday and then another game on the Saturday. I'll try and find out where we're playing

For those who might be interested,

We arrive late on Thursday 22nd (11.15pm so the need to find a late opening bar!) and will be staying at the Hotel Posejdon in Gdansk (seems to have mixed reviews on the net!)

Friday at 4pm we are in a "little tournament" where we play Urząd Miasta Sopot and Oldboys Sopot

Sunday at 12 noon we play Politycy i Przyjaciele.

So you want to play Town Hall officials with a hangover?
