Poland's Work permit questions - visiting European countries; working in the EU / switching job; dependants

a).My husband is from India and he had a work permit and he is working here from 2 years.I had a dependent vissa.I want to do a job.Is it possible?

Yes but you will need a work permit (for each individual job).

b)If possible how can i get work permit?

You don't get it, the firm which wants to hire you is responsible for getting the work permit and only they can apply for it.

c)Shall i start my job search with dependent vissa?

Yes. But please consider that you will need to wait about 60 days for the work permit. And that you will need a fair bit of luck in order to get a job: most companies can not be bothered to go through the hassle of getting work permits when they can just hire somebody from the EU without getting a permit.

I can perform on any windows operating system. Also can perform on Linux operating system.

Most of us have to rely on the floor, sofa, bed or shower. I am a bit wary of trying the "Windows" system as it might upset the neighbours.

NB. Sorry, English sense of humour.

I haven't had curtains in the living room for ten years and the neighbours have never said a thing.

Dear OP,
Don't take this personally but I do wish from the bottom of my heart that you and others like you would kindly fcuk off as there are more than enough bakers in Poland.

You're just trying to take advantage of loop holes in the E.U. immigration system and once you get a foot hold you'll use that to mule more people from where you're from into Poland and/or other E.U. member states.

I am not sure if you can even apply for permanent residency. We are American and we have to reappply every 2 years for our Visa's to live here.(and it is not an easy process) I took us over 5 months to get ours once we got here and the paperwork is crazy and we have a great job working for the government here and we still had a ton of things we needed to prove. You would almost need to change your citizenship. As for opening a business that can very tricky for nonPolish citizens and if you are here on a work permit that make make it really hard.

Hello Manish,

I'm from India as well, currently located in London. I have got an offer to work for Tier 1 Bank as an IT Business Analyst in Warsaw.

Seeing you post, I was wondering if you have got an answer to the questions you posed ? As even I have pretty much similar doubts as you had.

Also, I was wondering if you could help me know what is good enough salary to live easily and also save while working in Warsaw. Would appreciate your guidance.

Forget about it. The chances of either you or your wife obtaining a work permit are very remote. Practically zero, so make your plans on the very safe assumption that neither you nor your wife will be able to earn a single penny in Poland. Don't come unless you have abundant funds to cover your stay from your savings or your family back home. Otherwise, you're better off studying elsewhere, even in Bangladesh.

Hi,

I am working in Poland and I have a partner on a non-EU country.
Well my partner is of same sex and we are planning to marry in Paris where it is legal or a registered partnership in Poland.

Can he get a fiancee visa in this case?
Thanks for the answer.

No, because same sex marriages are not honored in Poland. But to come to Poland you don't need Polish Visa, only permit to legally stay in France.

Yes. If someone has a Schengen visa, it's good for the whole Schengen zone. There are limits to do with length of stay in other Schengen countries though, and no right to work.

Hi,
I am currently living in Wroclaw and having offer from 2 companies. First offer is from a company A" in Krakow and they got my work permit started from 8 Sep. Other company "B" gave me offer but joining date is 17 November 2014 and now they will apply work permit for me.

Notice period in company A is 15 days so my query is as I'll resign from company A in November but is it possible and legal that company B can start applying work permit for me while I am having work permit for company A as active work permit. As process takes 2 months and work permit start date would be 17 Nov 2014 so company B wants to start that process.

I only know that company A need to cancel my work permit once I'll leave/resign from that company as I am planning to resign in November.

Please help me with this.

Regards

Yes, work permit is assigned to the employer, so if you quit job you will loose the permit.

Apply for National Visa - Schengen Visa allows to be in Poland just up to 90 days within six months.
