Hi,
I am Lebanese, i have a resident permit to live in Poland, i satisfy all the conditions for driving license, like PESEL, 185 days, resident card etc..... I have the Lebanese driving license, and the IDP, i know i can drive with the IDP, but after i pass the theoretical test, will i be able to get the polish driving license without the practical test????? another question, am i able to buy a car in Poland with my IDP or i should get the polish driving license?

Probably you can drive for 3 months on your Lebanese International license then you need to pass an EU license.
Please, do not get me wrong but driving in Lebanon is without any rules... you can probably feel home (when driving) in Turkey, Marocco or India but in Europe you need to learn how correctly drive and use the car (South Italy will be probably the best place for you to get the practical driving test).

Visited Lebanon few time so no comments about your driving skills (in general).

Thanks for your answer. Of course, i don't understand you wrong, i know what you mean! but i am leaving in poland and I took practical lessons in poland, so i can drive safely. do you know if i have to do the practical test or is it enough to pass the theoretical and exchange to polish? please can you give me a link or office where i can ask in krakow? unfortunatly, schools can not help with that.

Thanks.

I've driven with my country's drivers license and IDP for 4 years and never had an issue when I had the occasional run-in with Poland's finest. And I use that term loosely.

It's worth pointing out that this is against the law. While there may be no way of tracking such people at the moment, there's no guarantee that they won't start adding up 2+2 in the future.

I was never obligated to show the dealer my IDP or DL when I was buying my car. They don't seem to care.

AFAIK- anyone can buy a car, regardless if they have a DL or IDP.

Hello

I read the blog but couldn't get any answer for that, anyway....

In case i am a polish national and a lebanese national, and i have the lebanese driving license and i have translated the lebanese driving license. Can I get the polish driving license without doing practical nor theoretical exams?
