Leaving a note...

Hi there, quite new to this and currently don't have access to a book shop. Now I know how to say "I am at the pub" from a chat we had there once. However I am currently not able to read or write polish. However my girlfriend hasn't finished work yet and i want to leave her a note so she knows where to find me. Any chance someone could give me hand on that front?

Welcome to the forums Cardno. I see from your profile you are a Bartender. You've probably met Bart before !

Ha yep, we Glaswegians are everywhere! If Bart was ever in Ashton lane then I'd probably have met him at some point.

Cheers for the help bart. At some point I will have to get my mates to teach me some basic writing skills...but for the time being I am still trying to master the art of conversation. So far I can come into work and say good morning and ask people how they are doing and reply. Plus the usual repertoire of swear words (always the first thing you learn eh?) and a few other phrases...not bad for a weeks learning lol.

Nope, never been in a pub there, but I sometimes go to the West End Botanic Gardens. I like the place, and when I win it big on Euro Millions, I'll definitely buy myself a villa there :)
