I have an apartment to let in Krakow.
What are the more reliable agencies for letting and property management.

This would be handy to know for me as well actually as I presume these agencies would be quite hany in finding me somewhere to stay.

I manage a real estate agency in Krakow.
Our website is property-krakow.com (launching our new website in a few weeks)
We can help you find tenants for your apartment in Krakow.
We can also of course find apartments for interested tenants as well.
And yes, we do charge for our services!
Regards,
Andy

Yes Andy I am familiar with your agency, actaully purchasing the apartment from you, but I am looking for comparisons in terms of costs and service.

That is so true!!! U pay for nothing :)

I mean, it's not logical, in every other country bussinesses would be happy to get customers, but in this case, the customer has to pay a bussiness to become a client?
It just doesn't make sense! If they charge the owner, okay, since he wants to rent it out, but the tenant just wants to rent a place, the property company should be happy they found someone instead of asking them for a month's rent or more for basically just waiting for them to call... easy money it seems, and a big sceam :)

Why not just post on gumtree.pl

Those letting agencies are just scams. Honestly most of those people have no clue as to what they are selling. Find a lawyer to write your lease contract and deal with the tenants on your own.

Like I said... :)

Quite hard if you don't speak any Polish, also because none of the sites like gumtree are available in English...

Actually there are plenty of foreign students who speak english. You can even write the ad in english. You will get a response. To each their own, but those agencies are crap most of the time. If you must use one of these agencies, take your own photos and give them a cd to use. I'm not sure what kind of moron thinks a person that wants to lease has any interest of how the corner of the room looks connected to the wall. Believe it or not most photos of places to rent or sell that the agencies take look pretty much like that.
