But today`s priests are Jesus` disciples, like original apostles. That means something, doesn`t it?

I'm glad I wasn't eating a bacon sandwich when I read that, pawian. That's all I can say.

I was asked to contribute to a Christian fund today, aka, financing the priest's Alfa Romeo insurance renewal. No thanks. You believe in your priests and let others believe in Jesus.

Is it libel or slander, I never know. Can you help? :):):)

Neither, it's the truth :) Oszczerstwo (libel) is writing blasphemous things.

Did you know that the German minority in Poland amounts to about 150.000?

29,000 priests? Wouldn't that mean that there's one priest for every single Śląskiego?

But today`s priests are Jesus` disciples, like original apostles. That means something, doesn`t it?

Not really, he appointed the apostles.

As I ask my Polish Catholic Mrs, when was the last time her priest told his flock to read the bible? And my old Gran was a nun at one point, so I'm not anti catholic, but educating the masses about what is said in the bible isn't seen to be important (quite the opposite I'd say).

Hey, I live not to far from Cisek and never noticed that sign panel when I've been there! Not really equality though, is it? The 'reds' get an Eagle and the 'blues' only get a "52" and it isn't even on their side. Shame there isn't a sign for the hospital in Kozle, as Krankenhaus is my favourite German word. Apart from Krankenwagen... and maybe Krankenschwester.

The number of altar girls is growing. They are more dutiful and ambitious than boys.

A few years ago. Now there are 1000.
Altar boys reached 300.000.

But slowly, slowly....... girls will take over. Just like with everything. :):):):)

Really? :):):) When I look around, I have an impression that (in)famous Polish moustache is disappearing. I know why. Since I shaved clean under the nose a few years ago, other males have followed my example.

On December 13, the Mint of Poland together with the National Bank of Poland launched their 2012 coin issues program with a bash. They organized a celebration for the first strikes of coins commemorating the "Great Orchestra of Christmas" charity, an organization which raises money for underprivileged children nationwide. The year 2012 is also the 20th anniversary of the charity, which is inscribed on the coins.

A lucky guy from Poland has won 31 million PLN in lottery today.

It is close to the highest sum ever paid by lottery in Poland - 33 million. It is about 10 million $ or 6.6 million pounds.

Good luck to him. I only hope that his priest doesn't find out where he lives. My second hope is that his priest doesn't run a radio station.

Mishmash facts about Poland

Going about 40 kilometers out of Krakow allows you to meet a nice brown bear. Wild.

In the Great Książ near Krakow hunters hunt bear. Predator has already been filmed and photographed. Bear probably wandered into the area of the Beskid Mountains and the Tatra Mountains.

The bear, the spotted and photographed from the pulpit by one of the hunters, is a 2-3 year old male. The animal can weigh up to 100 pounds. According to the hunters, he sojourned from the Tatras or Beskid and looks for his territory. It feeds now apples and corn.
