She forgot to pay some taxes some years ago and police found out after they got her in the street for identification. She told me greek prison is horrible. She stayed there or one week with some georgian and bulgarian women and a junkie.

This story doesn't stick much, why didn't she get a lawyer to help her work out some kind of deal with the court to pay it back? Also, if she is poor how much taxes could she really owe? The strangest thing I've ever heard.

The pledge of alliegance is not obligatory here in America. In fact I refused to say it once I reached the 4rth grade, because I felt the phrase "under God" violated the seperation of church and state mandated by our constitution.

let me at first tell you this; when french came to north africa and africa to steal, kill, torture and masscare people in these countries during more than centuries , did your ancetres think about it?

What's this ? are you gonna play the "guilt trip" card on me ? I'm somehow responsible for the deeds of my predecesors ? That's your way to rationalize the situation ? And how do you explain what goes on in Sweden then ? or Holland ? When the french were booted out of algeria , , algerians had a solgan. "la valise ou le cercueil" which more or less means: "pack your bags or you will get the coffin". Now these bastards are colonizing my country. I guess this justifies us to kick them back to the shithole they all come from too right ? Or is "tolerance" a one way street ?

when the majority of your doctors in france are from north africa, workers in car's firms and buildings since 70years , did you think about it?

Only they're not. Get your facts straight. We actually have problems in our hospitals now because muslim men don't want their wives to see male doctors. Sometimes they even beat up the doctors.

If you understand the language , here's your brutal reality check
w w w .youtube.com/watch?v=2jFg4kTYsM4
w w w .youtube.com/watch?v=iEP--fJpDsk

(for those who don't understand...these videos talk about the fact that our hospitals are in danger because our doctors are sometimes physically attacked , threatened...our laws are not respected)

workers in car's firms and buildings since 70years , did you think about it?

Nobody asked the people of france if we wanted this immigration. It was shoved down our throats. Just like the Lisbon Treaty. We said no. But our politicians couldn't accept "no" for answer , so our president still passed this treaty without our votes. In other words our democracy is a joke. The only real democratic country in europe is switzerland. (they have direct-democracy).

when even your best players of football and sport are from algeria and africa, did you think about it?

And have you ever wondered why in a (still) white majority country our soccer team looks more like africa's than france's ? Have you thought about it ? Do you know what goes on during our selections ? Or why whites are becoming a rarity in french soccer ? Spain's team has spaniards , ireland has irish players , italians have italians , poles have polish players... But france is apparently an exception to that rule...Ever wondered why ? Or why our rugby team still looks like a french team ?....Seriously , i don't know why i bother arguing at all.

if there is problemes with your "people " because you put them in some "ghetto" , its the fault of your country

Riiiight. It's the french people of france who are wrong and guilty....and it's our fault if the poor innocent and gentle drug dealers & robbers are living the life they have... So , according to you "we" put them in some "ghetto" right ? Here's another reality check.

Here watch this.
W W W .youtube.com/watch?v=3PIstM6n2tI

You know what she's saying ? "i'm afraid to get gang raped". You know why ? She adds: "i'm an easy prey because i'm french"...."I wish i was an arab girl so that people would respect me".

You see , WE didn't put them there. It's just that when THEY become a majority...a phenomenon happens. WHITE FLIGHT... You know what white flight is ? It doesn't exist in Poland i guess. White flight consists of seeing the indigenous people of france , LEAVING these areas for their own safety. So as soon as they can , as soon as they can make more money...they go to cities where they're not the only whites. Where they're not threatened of being mugged or attacked. Which ends up creating a natural segregation...Blacks & arabs on one side , whites on the other... We didn't just "put them" there by force you know.

I presume you're an arab yourself are you not Nassim ? If so....Here's an arab which i'd gladly receive in my country...Because this man speaks the TRUTH about you people.

[quote=Bratwurst Boy]your identity is an artificial one, rallying around your flag and an oath of your constitution

No one makes you do it here. It was my choice. I've know a people who lived here for 25 + years and never got their citizenship. No one gives a crap.

your identity is an artificial one, rallying around your flag and an oath of your constitution

Our identity? You can be whoever you want to be. The Constitution is just a bunch of laws that seem to work out for the most part. I like American flag and i don't mind wave it around. It makes me feel good.

But when they decide to live in MY country they should live after MY rules and customs...no extras or accommodations...they don't like it? There is the door ----->

How do you feel seeing it burned? By your own countryfolks?

American Muslim Converts Burn U.S. Flag

One of the first things to abandon when accepting Islam is your nationality and race. This means Islam is above your country and your race, there should be no boundaries or divisions among Muslims.

"He who exalts his people or his nation's flag is not a Muslim but a Kaffir (infidel)".

A true Muslim will burn his own country's flag and will only be loyal to the Koran and God.

You still don't care?

You still don't care?

You bring examples of fanatics and want to label all people in other regions in the same color? In that same view, Germans (all and each) should be colored in the color of Swastika.

But I will not do that ... as that would be irresponsible. But perhaps you should ...

You do it anyhow...so what would change! And we can do in our own country what the hell we want. We don't force Poles to wear the Swastika...atleastnotanymore!

But should our immigrants get to bold one day they won't know what hit them...

Maybe that's your problem, see, you gotta compete here with others, the language, school, some kind of skills, knowing the laws well, are a must to know if you wanna live well and prosper here in the US as an individual.

We are preaching that for awhile now...actually Germany's fault was to expect that as natural development and maybe doing not enough to push the immigrants in that direction. Boy where we wrong!

Now the tensions are boiling...still undercover of a successful, prospering country where most people are comparable well off nonetheless...Imagine should the fates change.

I'll say one thing though....The only non-white immigrants who aren't filling our prisons...aren't raping , robbing...attacking french people....Are asian. I don't know why but the japanese , koreans & chinese immigrants are usually very discreet , polite , and hard workers and they do very well in school too. And unlike arabs & blacks , it didn't took them 30 years to adapt to our rules..... But it probably has to do with their culture. I mean just look at japan or korea or china and compare it to north africa....day and night.

He is proud of his country , accepts his country started a war , but unlike a lot of Germans is not prepared to hang his head in shame for all enternity over something that he , his father , and probably his grandfather had no part in ...

The forum needs to hear a German point of view on European matters , and the second war....

The second war should not be forgotton , but hey , it is over , lets not try to keep it going another hundred years....

Being proud of German military operations is not the same as taking delight in Nazi war crimes... give him a break....

To the OP i hope you're open to constructive criticism. First of all i respect your views and i could also feel like you considering where i am coming from. The only difference is that i have travelled immensely and have seen what our fore fathers from the west did during clolonialsim. They messed up the world(True to David Cameron's words when he visited a region in Pakistan and donated 650millionGBP towards education) and true to it some of us are suffering to a certain extent due to their actions but then again if you don't see how the west benefited because of colonialism then you're a bit ignorant. Registeredd you talk of no-go areas and the things that are being taught in schools in france. I'm sure you're quite educated enough to know that most western countries did the same during colonialism they gave the people they had colonised their names, named towns, streets, schools, and buildings after their own even forced them to speak their own languages (now you know why they speak better english, french or spanish) and they even built suburbs which are still standing up to now where the locals were not allowed to venture into. While this was happening they also milked most of these countries off their natural resources coz they knew that times would change one day.

Look at our great nation The UK we have 53 countries in a club called the commonwealth more like a mockery to the former british colonised countries. Most of the people from these countries feel like they belong to the British empire but who can blame them, they have english names, they speak english very well, they follow english traditions, they have towns, schools, colleges, cities and streets named after their colonial masters. When you look at it all it's kinda sad but somehow this was bound to happen coz milking their lands dry was always going to lead to this influx. As much as most of you on here would like to ignore this part of the coin coz you think we should not be held accountable for what happened in the past the truth is we benefited from colonialism we made our nations rich and prosperous at the expense of other nations. Now that they are left with nothing they think of coming to the so called greener pastures. This is quite normal human behaviour in such circumstances and this is where history tends to repeat itself we can go back to the Roman Empire, The Greeks and so forth there is nothing new here. Put yourself in the shoes of those on the receiving end i'm sure you would not even contemplate that coz you have your strong views which are centered on what you can see only on the surface.

Why poland and other east european nations are not affected simple they have no colonial past (they themselves are former colonised countries) walk into any french or english speaking african country or latin america and mention Poland or Hungary nobody knows of such countries. They only come to the so called powerful nations coz they have something to offer to them and after all they already have their education so it will never be difficult for them to find work. I once asked a fellow up in Preston why he didn't mingle with his english peers he simply said to me he would like to but what's the use if they will all start looking down upon him just because he is originally from Pakistan. That speaks volumes about why most immigrants don't intergrate, but make no mistake about it i am all for intergration. I just thought i should come in on this coz most of us have no clue as to what is actually spiralling all this mass exodus of economic refugees to the EU.

I echo the sentiments of wildrover. Not many of us can attend certain meeting points to discuss sth on a face-to-face basis with an international audience. PF is an invaluable asset in bringing people together so we can learn from their experiences what is happening or has happened in their countries. Let's face it, most of us pick up second-hand news and take it as given due to the lack of an enquiring mind. If the EU is to work then its citizens have to discuss a wide range of issues by using various media/fora.

The French poster was nice enough to alert posters to the state of play in his country. BB is merely doing the same.

The underlining truth is that the US is a "free for all" and no one has any delusions about what would happen when "the lights go out".

You can't have your cake and eat it too, but you people seem to think that.

Dont you mean you said "non" ?? nobody asked the people of Algeria or Morocco or Martinique or Haiti or the rest of the French Caribbean or Guyana (to mention just a very few of your colonies) if they wanted their countries raped and their people terrorised did they?

As one of our American friends said here "You cannot have your cake and eat it".

You know..that argument doesn't wash!
When I feel raped and terrorised I don't queue up to live in the country of the rapist and terrorizers, become one of them. Quite the contrary!

Isn't it rather that way that most of them had been better off under colonial rule? Those people complain and scream one way and act the other...you can't believe them!

You know..that argument doesn't wash!

well you are entitled to your opinion BB but then German overseas possessions never extended to much.
Just look at this!!

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_French_possessions_and_colonies

and then some white French kid has the cheek to moan !!!!
How many French cities etc were built on the spoils of empire?
Why is France so rich now?
How many civil and international wars were fomented by the French in chase of empire leaving how many people impoverished and homeless?
The very least France can do now is accept some of its ex subjects into the country. after all colonial subjects were forced to learn about "our ancestors the Gauls"!!

That wasn't about colonialism...you said that the poor, suffering victims of french colonialism (who weren't even alive back then) now can't wait to to live in France with a french ID because they hate it so much.

I can't follow that logic....

And where do you draw the line...when is the poor state of a country the fault of a colonial power from 50 or 100 years back and when the responsibility of the today natives?

How long will you blame people who have nothing to with it?

Did I really say that?? Are you sure?
Besides even if you do choose to put retrospective words into my mouth, I am not "blaming people", I am saying that society in France today is reaping the rewards of past French government actions, and that is just tough.

Don't be so paranoid BB..:)
Besides, have a look at that wiki link, it was hardly 50 - 100 years ago in many cases.
This obsession of yours about "blame" are you sure you have certain issues compeletely separate in your mind? I am not talking about Germany.
