I loved the music in Poland - the one radio station I always listen to JAMS.

Tried to get my friend to help me find some CDs but she's not a dancin' girl like I am.

When I am in Wroclaw in the spring I will go to the music store again.

Too much cheesy dance music there. Some clubs spin legit trance or D&B but the majority of them spin this horrible euro poppy dance crap. I've walked into a few nice lounges that had nothing but old school hip hop which was nice.

I like the stuff played in Energy2000 but i also like hard trance style stuff :)

Im a Hacienda chick (or was its luxury apartments now!), so only old school for me...techno is for people who when dancing look like they're having epaliptic fits...all the clubs I went in, in Krakow had dance music but mainly mainstreem...

note the DJ's mentioned on this page, they are all top class and if you ever come across anything they have mixed, buy it!

I go a little bit further back 88 but 89 was the best ever..please dont use that term "raver" I hated that then...did you ever go to any of the warehouse parties? I had the pleasure one new year of doing the bar, how frustrating serving a load of happy people!!!

I used to go to "parties" in San Francisco in the early 90's ...did it all :) Those were some interesting times....but go much worse since then. Now it's bad acid-mdms-crystal mixed with 15-16 yr olds. Bad news.

Now it's bad acid-mdms-crystal mixed with 15-16 yr olds. Bad news.

true this of any type of club here in the Uk ... the females aged between 14-16yrs get in no problem as all they have to do is wear something that is more like a belt around their waist that is supposed to be a skirt and a top that allows their clevage on show and the bouncers wave them in .... tut tut ... the lads have to make more an effort as its harder to fool the bouncers on the door

but any person in this age group can spoil a good night out in my books as it is like having "nappy night" with the regular night each weekend ... no fun!! :(

It might be considered polite to offer your own taste in music when making comments like this.

I've answered this music question on countless other threads.

Always the same discussions about music.. it always boils down to

"My subculture can kick your subculture's ass any time 24/7!"

Who cares?
