Says who? It is notoriously difficult to get accurate data about how many Vietnamese there are in Poland.

I think I read a statistic somewhere that the largest population of Vietnamese outside of Vietnam was in Poland---I could be wrong, however. My daughters best friend is from Vietnam- they are a part of a very large community- this is just what I know from her.

Isn’t that the truth, our national identity finally awakens from deep slumber.

I think I read a statistic somewhere that the largest population of Vietnamese outside of Vietnam was in Poland

I think US has a far greater Vietnamese population then Poland though they were former enemies but don’t quote me on that.

According to this link: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overseas_Vietnam

the top 3 countries outside Vietnam to house Vietnamese are in this order USA (1,6 mios), Cambodia (600k) and France (250k). Poland has a mere 10k, a little more than Switzerland but fewer than Sweden or Norway. But I agree that the source (Wiki) is open to challenge..

Maybe officially 10k, but really there are more. They're in Poland illegally.

The Intelligent. We are slowly making up for WW2 and communism losses.

I would like to deport all the Muslims in the UK to Poland in exchange for another 1 million poles here if necessary.

PS I will be happy to pay my taxpayers money to send them there.

I would like to deport all the Muslims in the UK to Poland in exchange for another 1 million Poles moving here if necessary.

Poland would have even accepted it because Poles wouldn't be timid in showing their new compatriots their place

the thing is it would cost Britain everything - first of all its reputation - btw I don't find muslims to be causing much trouble in England in general save for some fringes

you have to be kidding me!!!??!?!??!!?!?!?!?

They do not integrate, they have created alien hostile ghettos, they burn poppies on our memorial day, no few months goes by without an Islamic terror plot being unveiled.

Honour Killings.

Muslims don't cause any more problems than anyone else in the UK, they don't tend to drink which accounts for most of the crime.

The North Vietnamese Peoples Army "Communist" were at war with The Government of South Vietnam, supported by the United States and other anti-communist nations such as South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, ECT ECT. The "Vietnamese" as a people were never our enemies. Just the Communist lead North. In America we have a large population of Americans of Vietnamese ancestry on the Pacific Coast of the United States and Hawaii. Also if you're sitting there thinking to yourself "I wonder where do the Poles reside?" That would be Chicago and I forgot the cities name but there is a large population of Americans with Polish ancestry in Pennsylvania.

Dupont? in the Pocono mountains. There are many cities/towns with people of Polish ancestry in Pennsylvania. 7.2% of all Pennsylvanians. Were much more spread out here then in other states from Erie or Pittsburgh to Philadelphia.

Chevy I stand corrected you are quite right.
The entire Vietnamese people were indeed not enemies of the US
It was only the North Vietnamese who were fighting with the US forces as well as VietCong based in South Vietnam

There were many Vietnamese who fought the communists to the bitter end and suffered for it, when the Americans finally had to pull out

The ones your people napalmed could be excused for thinking otherwise.

they could take comfort in the knowledge that their deaths were probably an accident
like all the British soldiers killed in blue on blue incidents in the Gulf War and just about any other conflict where the Brits fought alongside the Americans post WWII

.........now waits for overzealous moderator to bin me thread.......... like they did with my comments about the Korean War (boo, hiss)

so back onto topic

There seem to be quite a few Chechens in Poland now.
I am starting to see a lot more African dudes in the major cities now and not as many Vietnamese as ten years ago

You don't see Georgians any more in Poland, they were really cool
I had lots of friends who were Georgian market traders

Without a doubt the fastest growing ethnic group appears to be caucasian

yups, operation Rolling Thunder, one big accident (just to bite at your obvious irony.....that brit test, the one that said I was american,maybe...maybe....)

BTW, The image you are thinking of...........sorry, I just googled ( "napalm girl" girl finds her straight away...:( )
Just confirmed what I thought, Phan Thi Kim Phuc was bombed by SVN air force, not Americans.

I heard, that due to the tiny/ inhumane size of Polish apartments, that there is a growing population of Smurfs in the country; apparently they find them quite spacious.
