Simplyfying this complicated case to "cafliks " ethic is so narrow minded. Are you seriously think the problem we are face in this case is religious nature? Obviously you have some religious issues, I'm talking about completely different perspective. Using religious excuses only stir discusion, of course in a wrong way.

I know. It is very bad. All these fellows that travelled to search for better income (because I cant say better life style) in the UK and now are being treated like RATS in a HOLE

Polish should stand for themselves and be strong and not accept any rubish that the british government is offering. Seems to be like the time of the Holocaust in which all the POLISH have been treated and killed like animals. Polish should be strong and have dignity in not going to ENGLAND accepting any **** offer.

All the Polish who went to the UK sadly now has given all the rest of the citizens of Poland the fame of a race in necessity, starving for some penny, selling themselves, and accepting to be treated as a lower race, accepted the indignant treatment from the English who dislike all the POLISH

That's a bit strong, isn't it. There are a lot of Polish citizens in the UK who are doing well for themselves

Why you said : How about the polish who have a good live in the UK?

I haven't seen any polish having a good life in the UK apart from being treated with NO respect. And for being step on their faces.

It is well known that the English think of polish ... as (rubish), as slaves who went to the UK to serve them for little pennies. That is the only reason why the UK Government has opened the doors to POLISH, with the purpose and intention of make Polish work like PIGS, living in a shared accomodations in the ****!.
Polish women are considered objects for the sexual trade.. and polish men are considered "savages" who could not make it in Poland and therefore have to travel to the UK in desperation to get money.

Come on Polish (all Poland) HAVE SOME DIGNITY!! and stop going to the UK and stay in Poland trying to work for the good progress and happiness of POLAND!

I am sorry but the idea behind being a guest worker is exactely that if you look at the history of guest workers all over the world. It is always the richer country employing cheap cheap labour for economic reasons and supplying some negative propaganda about the workers, when the native citizens object their presence. I am talking about the worst case scenario. I guess it varies, depending on the person. There are disastrous and there are some success stories.

If people had jobs in Poland and the economy was good, Poles would not be going abraod. Who can efford the Polish prices? There are some regions in Poland that have been supporting themsleves from working abraod for years and you know it very well. If you are Polish, I don't need to mention them to you.

That has been going on for generations. Do I need to remind you of poeple going to America to work in mines at the beginnin of the century????
PS. I had a thread somewhere about the fact that export labour is becoming the biggest commodity in the near future. There are other reasons for the labour migration, but I am too lazy to go on about it.

Maybe the Polish government should think about creating incentives for people to open their own interests/firms (działalnośći). After all, many businesses operate under such fundamental principles.

then obviously you havent` seen all the poles in the uk. i know quite a few (including myself) who lead good lives, have been here for a long time, paid their dues an now they`ve got what they deserve. climb up, not down, the ladder.

say what???? come back to poland, work for some greedy private business owner who will pay you less than a minimum wage, ask you to work saturdays without paying, threatening you that if you tell anyone, he`ll fire you, and when you get pregnant kick you right out and leave you with nothing??? LOL you`re funny.

at least in here, employers comply with the rules (vast majority of the time) instead of finding ways to get around things so that they can get more money. i`d rather work for them.

Iam back in Poland.

If you are from a minority who probably made better money in the UK... (have you really? been accepted by the english society??......

The point is... whatever happens... the fact of assuming the position of a second class citizen in the UK... is worst than having a less better job in Poland.. at least here I will try and will be POLISH.. have a more dignified life, than being in the UK and be considered (****) because that is the real situation... and it is obvious... the ENGLISH does not want us in the UK.. and the British Government do not care.. about this problem...(the LABOUR UK government group) does not give a monkey anymore about the complains of their own english country, so all the majority of english citizens (workers) they hate every single polish that goes there for an opportunity..
At the end of the day where is the earn? there?... to be treated as a ****, without respect or dignity..

I think is time that POLISH we stand for ourselves and be PROUD and not let anyone try to buy us with stupid job proposals.. try better for POLAND and for its future.. and the future of the polish children and generations.

Only if Poland is part of the UK now...

SPOT ON!
It is frightening to what degree people are becoming reaquainted with the notion of being "nomadic."

Regarding the other b.s. on this thread, it is rather depressing to read so many people willing to blame everyone else for their life's problems while simultaneously excusing any wrong doings and/or mistakes made by anyone sharing common nationality or "genes" (for lack of a better word). Newsflash for you nerds: We are individuals- not spokespeople for our country or ethnicity of origin.

Great idea. Hey everyone, go walk around and just be PROUD and POLISH and when you add it all up you'll get a grand total of your dick in your hand- Great advice!

if you pay peanuts you get monkies and if youre a monkey you are happy to work for peanuts.

the simple fact of the matter is that noone forced the polish to come to the uk and work for a pittance.

the simple fact of the matter is that the polish flocked in their hundreds of thousands to come and work at the bottom end of the employment market

if you stopped 'buying' stupid job proposals people would stop 'selling' them to you.

why do you have such difficulty understanding this?

Got a job? If so is it better paid and do people treat you better?

I'm interested to know because what Incubus said about the long working hours, unpaid weekend work, and w@nker bosses sounds exactly like the experience of every Polish person in Poland that I speak to. But hey, at least they're doing it whilst being proud to be Polish.

yeah, if you know are going to be treated like sh*t anyway but you wanna be a patriot, let your natives do it to ya! although i suppose that in zeus's situation it would've been better if he let the Brits insult him in Uk cos at least he wouldn't understand half of the things they were saying to him ;)
