I work within a large polish population and would like to be able to say the basics such as hello, goodbye thank you, you are welcome etc but pronouced properly, can anyone help with a few basic phrases with english phonetic pronunciation.

Thank you for your anticipated help.
Justin.

Hei Justin, welcome here.
Of course we can help you ;)

Here are some common words with English pronounciations :

Hello : Dzień dobry [jen doh-bRay]
Hey : Hej [hey] or Cześć [chay-sh-tch]
Thank you : Dziękuję [j(i)ank-oo-yeh]
Thanks : Dzięki [janki]
Goodbye : Do widzenia [doh vee-dzay-nya]

This is a great post, I am practising on my children and hoping I am getting the pronunciation right. Hopefully I will be confident enough to say Dzien dobry next time our Polish customers come in.
