Proper Polish spelling would be rather Lubimowski, the version you posted must have been filtered through Russian (lj - is the Russian transcription for "L", while they use "L" for Polish "£"/"³")

The lj spelling appears to be Croatian, but might indeed have been an attempt to transcribe the Cyrillic Любимовский into Latin script. Etymologically the name is connected to belovedness but might have originated as a toponymic linked to some locality called (in trasnlation) Loveton or Fondville. The Polish spelling would be Lubimowski, and it exists in Poland but is extremely rare.
