Looks as if my foray into the market in Wroclaw last year would have been brilliantly timed, though my partner in the investment took terminal cold feet, ah well...always next year!!

The prices in Warsaw they reckon went up by 33%, in Cracow 45%...but pride of place goes to Wroclaw....55%.....!!!

PS They expect things to cool rapidly this year though......then again, in proprerty we are ussually only wise after the event!!!

Frank,

As soon as the time is right... buy a house + land.

Unless you can find another, better priced city, to invest in.

Some say prices went up here because we are close to the border.

When they drop border control in December/January it might be worth having property this side of the German border.

Look into it.

Wow thats a massive increase, surely after them kind of rises in prices things can only start slowing for a while, but will they go down ?
I am currently in poznan looking for a 2-3 bed property to live in with my girlfriend, but I am in no hurry to sell up back in England.
I have found that prices are still relativly cheap here but again things are on the up as Poznan has a very strong business presence with the trade fairs, and the amount of new businesses being built here, so my guess is it will be best to buy now.. But as you said you never know..
