Skype is very good to learn. However, most of the time I wound up speaking more english than Polish because I am so bad in Polish. But the Polish counterpart will tell you some of the things you say back in Polish. I learned how to say good luck [powidzenia] and other small things. A lot of the things they say seem to stick to you better than from textbook.
However, many things are scattered, and depending on their age, you might get a teenage word or something.
Talking to them however, is a pleasant experience. Many of them have very soft pleasant voices which almost sound like a song. Those with accents are very nice to listen to. Seems almost like a song. My friend also has this voice. I love it!
EDIT: Ok, I realized that the original author said, "american girls". So my post really doesn't make sense with his. Anyways, what I said was about Polish girls so, don't be confused! :P
