If it is a specific book that you have in mind you could also say Ja szkum jakiejś książki.

I disagree. 'Jakiś' means any

If you want to be specific, then the sentense 'I am looking for any book' isn't correct

if you wanna say I am looking for some/specific book, you can say Szukam pewnej książki
