Greetings from Glasgow,

I am an Architect working in Glasgow, Scotland, looking for a little help...........

I run a number of independent educational exchanges between school pupils in Scotland and Poland in co operation with Akademia Lucznica, 50km south of Warsaw. I am unable to post the link, but you should be able to find it on google.

I have been collecting old Art and Architecture books and magazines, that I would like to donate to the Akademia for use in a number of educational workshops. I have managed to fill about 20 large boxes, but they are to heavy to take with me on the plane.

I am therefore looking for a haulage company that would be prepared to deliver a number of boxes of these books and magazines, from Glasgow to Warsaw. My contacts in Warsaw, would then arrange transport to Akademia Luczinca.

If you are able to 'squeeze in' a few boxes on your next trip, or know anyone that might be able to help, I would be delighted to hear from you.

bla bla,
You are right, I could use a freight or haulage company, but the cheapest price i have found is £1,140 for shipping 20 boxes!

I run these exchanges on a voluntary basis, and rely on donations from the private sector, and ocassionally grants from the eu and local councils, so I don't have that kind of money. To put it in perspective, that amount would allow me to take another 10 pupils on an exchange visit.

I am therefore looking for a company that is travelling from Glasgow to Warsaw on a regular basis, that wouldn't mind taking a few of my boxes along on each trip.

A long shot I know, but you don't get, if you don't ask.
