Looking for an Education partner in Poland

I am working as a European Development Manager for an British Education company (NCC Education). We are now seeking an academic partner in Poland. Ideally a college who would be able to deliver our British degree and Masters programmes (from British universities) to students in Poland.

I could do with some knowledge on the potential barriers (perhaps governmental?) and an idea of what students currently pay (approx) for private higher education in Poland and your opinions as to whether you think they may pay a little more for a British qualification available in their local city ?

Thanks in advance

Wouldn't it be an idea to check with the British Council.

my father set up an institue in warsaw connected to a prestigious uk university and had nothing but grief for the first few years... i gave up listening to the problems after awhile but they normally involved corrupt power-crazed locals mucking something or other up or disappearing with the funds...

its also worth noting that many poles consider their educational standards as better than ours...

they may well have a high standard of education but taking their qualifications out of the country can prove frustrating for them... as previous posters on the forum have found out...

Hi,
I have finished Business Studies in the UK and International Relations in Poland not so long ago so I know the reality and major differences between these two countries. I believe I can help you to establish contact with right institutions. Email me at contact@PiEC.co.uk if you are interested. You can also visit the website PiEC.co.uk. With best regards Ludwik

hi all and thanks for all the advice, indeed we are speaking to the British Council so hopefully they will help.

So from your comments about Polish education and standards - do you not think there would be a market for British qualifications in Poland ?

and Thanks Ludwik, I might drop you an email to see what PIEC are all about. :-)
