to be honest there are bigger crimes but when convicted people dont get sentenced severely..

tthis is severe crime becaue it shows that people morals are weak, if they are faced with a even more difficult situation who know what they would do..

some people do not have a right in this land - we pay taxes and they claim benefits get houses healthcare

its unfair and inhumane

I do not need my opinion to "count" with a stranger on the internet...that is too funny.

I love my fiance...and we will marry for that reason...and it will benefit her as well when it comes to living in the USA. If I didn't have her I would have no problem marrying for convenience.

Marriage IS the easiet way to a Passport in most places...blame the system not the people.

And you mistake me for someone that is concerned with your opinion of me :)

And if you think the healthcare in the Polish public system is a gift..then you are insane. I would never go to a public hospital here.

In addition a majority of the Poles I know that go to the USA end up staying illegally...so it's a bit hypocritical as a society.

Morals are relative...there is nothing evil about playing the game with stupid immigration laws.

Typical Polish males it seems.....complaining about everything.

The system is legal and put in for a bloody good reason, if you want to rebel go park in a disabled zone, marrying for your own selfish ends is wrong and nothing you say will justify it.

Maybe work hard like all the other people who havn't needed to go to such extremes instead of trying to get the lazy mans way out...if thats what you are.

The system is broken...as it is in many places.

And for people who do want second passports....the system makes it inordinately hard to get them...and plays big time political favorites.

I don't need one...but since I am here and marrying my gf eventually why not do it...it is a convenience.

And in the case of Poland...people are not climbing the walls to immigrate here because they love Poland and want to be Polish...it is the back door into the EU now and THAT is why they do it. Can you blame them? People who cry about immigrants have never lived or spent much time in poor places like Africa etc...you would be doing the same thing if you were from a poor third world country(I know Warsaw is clsoe but it doesn't count)

People from the North latitudes are great about whining about rules and immigrants when they have comforts and food and life. If you are so moral why don't you trade places with someone or invite refugees into your home?

Decent Immigrants come to this country through legal means and work hard for what they have, illegal immigrants will find illegal means to do so because they like to work the system, jump infront of the cue because they cannot be bothered to go through the same channels as everyone else who happens to be in the same boat.

I didnt say you needed my justification, however I get the impression your the kind of person that would find a wallet with an address in it and take it, or wont give up your seat on the bus for the elderly because your comfortable just as you are.

Maybe tell your girlfreind that you would marry for the means to get your own way regardless of whether its dead wrong, im sure that would go down well. Out of curiosity where are you from?

Im sure many people on this board will agree with me.

I am American...and I truly don't care what impression you are anyone else 'gets'. You don't know me. My GF knows my beliefs if we were not together...and she knows I love her and when we marry it will be for love not convenience..although she was prepared to marry me to help me with papers....it's all practicality in our minds.

You have your opinion...that doesn't make it fact....and I am quite glad the world is free enough that people like you cannot force your belief system on me...although god knows they try.

Dead wrong is relative...you can say what you like but you are not the world's moral compass...quite arrogant to think so.

I have had one gf since I came here 4 years ago and she is great!

Look, as much as I try to respect other peoples views I find it difficult to accept that anyone would be willing to defend marriage for visa. Maybe its the way I was brought up but I tend to have a clear definition of right and wrong, I dont blame other people for having different views I hold it against no-one. But I'll just never understand someone like you and I guess Ill leave it at that. I think everything thats needed to be said has been said.

You know exactly what I meant by 'stealing'....I know loads of women here and they all prefer foreigners since we are not dependent, lazy momma's boys who live with their parents until 30 like the Polish men their age.

Why can't Polish men be more like the women here? I mean by that insightful, kind and humble for the most part. It's not wonder your own girls don't want you.
