Looking for Solak and Dutkowski (Dudek) connections in Poland...

I can trace back to Ellis Island for Solak but not Dutkowski. I would like to find Solak in Poland and Dutkowski also in Poland if possible. Just wondering if anyone knows of any connections I can investigate. Thanks!!

Marie, what are the first names and places in MI where they lived? I can work backward thru ancestry dot com and maybe find their origins.

Antoni Dutkowski, destination Detroit, Michigan, last living in Grupa, Poland, but born in Zawady, Poland; he arrived in the US in 1922 as part of the Haller Troops (whatever that was). Passage to the US was paid for by the Polish Government and he went to the US to be with his nephew, Michael Jonski (sp?), on Holborn Avenue in Detroit.

Could this be him?
