Looking for texts regarding the November and January Uprising in PL

hello
i'm looking for reading material such as speechs or literature text regarding the November and January Uprising.
i'm an israeli student. i need to prepare a 15 minutes guidance about these events, and it is hard to find that kind of materials here. i'm looking for materials that will make my lecture more vivid.
please help!

1. about the wikipedia site: i allready saw it. what i'm looking for is famous texts about these events. like literature texts writen about it (poems, speechs made by the rebels etc). a text that will symbolize the uprisings.
2. i didn't understand what's the conection to david ben-gurion's speech.

the title of the poem is "the colonel's death" I advice you to look for the professional translation otherwise you won't be able to fully appreciate the masterpiece

but that's just a suggestion:)

Poems are very hard to translate, maybe someome will translate more or less but you need to open a new topic in a translation section.

i found someone who translated the Mickiewicz poem for me. it is great!
1. is Emilia Platter a polish hero (the poem says she is from Lithuania). i know the two countries were united at that time, but is Emilia Platter considered today to be a polish hero?
2. are there any poems about the 1864 January uprising?

some school in Poland and even polish school in USA have name of Emilia Plater she is like Joana D'Arc for French. tommorow i will try to find some poem about January Upspring. That Time a Poland and Lithuania was like one body so we have same heros from this nice time ...
