Lose passport to extend my stay, must return to the US

I just realized that I must return to the U.S. much sooner than I was told. What would happen if I reported my passport as lost or stolen? I would get a new passport with no Polish stamp in it correct? And this would mean I would get to stay longer, correct?

If anyone has any info it would be much appreciated thanks!

if youre planning potentially criminal acts it might not be the best idea to announce it on a public forum, correct?

I can announce whatever I want it's a hypothetical question, Y'all don't know my name, Border patrol isn't monitoring this message board, nobody gives a heck. I just called the polish embassy in Washington, they transfered me to some dude who obviously just woke up and who told me to just cross into Ukraine and come back in, and I'll get another 90 days. So there's Polish rigor for you. It's just a question anyway, It doesn't mean I'm actually going to do it.

P.S. by the way, do not cross the border into Ukraine in hopes of getting another 90 days. This used to be okay but the rules have changed as of January. I told the guy that at the Polish embassy and he said that it's still possible to do it because Poland is a new EU/Shengen member and that the new rules aren't in force yet. But that must be ********.
