Asian guy in love with Polish girl (any chance?)

I don't understand why you look at yourself as Asian. You are a human being who is interested in a woman who happens to be Polish. Ask her out or forget it.

I wasn't always self aware. I took some time off to take some film classes in Australia. I'll never forget walking into the studio on my first day. On the right side sat the white Australians. To their left sat the white Americans. On the far left sat all the Asians and the other international students. I'm sure it wasn't really anyone's intention but it does say a few things. Sad really. Everyone got along but that's how our production groups were formed.

Have you asked her out yet? any updates?

And sure most Americans are from somewhere else. That is what I like about it.

that was Australia and you are in NY, so don't let that experiance drag you down. We live in a racist world so these things will happen. It is how you handle them, not how you get drag down by them.

The question is: is she frelndly only with you or with other customers too? Maybe she is just a friendly woman. Sometimes that might be taken the wrong way.

Not yet. I haven't seen her since last Thursday. I think it's the only day she works. So maybe today's the day.

I'm sure she's friendly with everyone. She just seems like a sweetheart. I don't think she gave me any special attention. Then again, I'm rather guarded and reserved so I would probably dismiss it as nothing if she did. So I'm not taking anything the wrong way. I just know that the last two times I've seen her, I walk away with images of her smile and beautiful eyes lingering in my thoughts.

I know what you mean, I am a bit thick when it comes to seeing that someone fancies me, always the last to know.
Good luck and I expect a full report, on my desk tomorrow morning! ha ha ha, you'll be fine, how is your Polish coming along?.

Where are you thinking of brining her? I might be jumping the gun here, are you going to ask her out or just introduce yourself today?

I remember a few years back in a club. This girl I was interested in sits down in front of me, closes her eyes and leans in. I gave her a peck on her forehead and probably lost my chance forever. I am still clueless.

STOP PRESSURING ME! jk.

I have no clue really. I'll walk by and see if there's anyone else working with her. I definitely won't make a move if the frowning old lady is there. I might not say a thing if there's another young girl there. Hopefully I'll catch her alone so I can just ask her out for dinner or a movie.

I guess.

I know exactly how you feel and at the time you do not see it. Next day you put it together, ha ha ha

STOP PRESSURING ME!

Sorry.... ha ha ha but I think some people on this forum could give you a good idea what a Polish girl would like for a date. I'd ask polishgirltx first.

Ah come on. go for it, old lady or young, seize the day and all that!.
If you don't talk to her, you'll just be a stalker (just kidding).
You can do it! She sounds like a sweet Polish girl.

She gave me some tips but I think I'll skip the coffee...

If it helps any, I am Polish. I live in NY State as well, outside of Buffalo. My entire family is Polish. I don't speak the language, but still cook and hold some of the traditions. I am married to a Korean Man, who is the love of my life. Good luck and take a chance, he did.

What helps is how friendly most people have been. What's Buffalo like anyway? My sister is moving there in August.

yeah, and australia is some backwater racist hole.

asian students, most being international students, also tend to associate with fellow overseas students.

Ask her out, simple answer. If she says no or that she's busy and doesn't arrange another date she's not interested. If she says yes then go for it. Don't forget to wear protection!

that's a shame. So you didn't get a chance to try out Southern's advice:

True. Better to have one good one than half a dozen duffers. I just wondered if Osirion had a "thing" for Polish girls.
