They look to the West to see how they live. However, the grass is always greener on the other side.
Imagine that I wasn't feel a fate unfairness due to a fact I was brought up in Poland. I had my klocki LEGO, my Barbie (orginal! not Steffie), I had my PC (actually my brother's PC), my rollerblades (back in 1996 every kid had to get one), my tama egg (do you remember that creature?? brrr), my cable tv, and imagine I nerver envied Americans their life... actually I wasn't aware that I should envy Americans their life. So please sto that nonsense. Life wasn't awful. And despite my dad had Polonez Truck in 1996, I did not feel liek poor Eastern European... can you believe that?
Again the attitudes developed under communism show. I think it will likely take a couple of generations for that to subside...
My parents have good life during communism. Especially my dad thinks so.
