Are Polish men handsome to you?

On average, when you walk down the streets of Polish cities, towns and villages do you see many men who catch an eye of yours?

Nope. I'm strictly butter-side up. There are some nice girls though:D.
Seriously, the men aren't that bad. Certainly not the worst gene pool in the world by any means.

I don't find the shaved head blokersi look attractive. But I do see a lot of good looking Polish guys. But then again, I am married to one.

I visited Poland for the first time last summer. Yes, most of Polish men have cute faces and they are much taller and better built then the guys from my home country. I stopped in Gdansk and saw the trojmiasto, Sopot is such a beautiful city, I would like to go to Poland more often to see other parts of the country, any suggestions where?

95% of men. I have a thing for Poles. I know, not normal. But hey. Why fight it.

I don't understand this stuff about Polish guys not being sexy. What?! Think of it like this. Quite a lot of English men look like Mr Bean. No Polish men look like him.

Try living in Poland for a while, they have just as many Mr Beans as we do.

Its also a myth that most Polish men are masculine and muscular IMO. In the UK i wouldn't blame anybody for stereotyping them like that, but in Poland its a different story. Not too many nerds emigrated over here.

Actually I went to Warsaw last summer and I don't see so many good looking polish guys on the street, however my polish boy friend is really good looking and his friends as well. :)

Ha..the jocks or bodybuilders usually come from working class, the office boys stayed behind.


Men like in any other country.. Some look boyish, some looks like hicks, some like criminals, some pretty boys, some Quasimoto.

I definitely like my Wadusili's looks even if he is a tad thin (that can be corrected ..heh)

When that date site thread was up front page; I was tempted to looksee and clicked. I was looking to see how many looked like my guy... even a little bit- maybe 1 in every 40?

It was uncanny how alike all these guys in a 20 year age range looked. Specially on polish hearts? was it? Most nice looking (least those that dared pics). To me, they seemed germanic looking in the selection. Nice faces, sturdy builds, ashen blondes or that dark color blondes turn when older.

None quite my type enough to set my heart a flutter, but I don't think I would kick nary a one outta my bed for eating crackers if I were single.

So yes, I generally find men of Polish ancestry handsome. I especially like the type (whichever region) Polish guys that have that really golden color to hair and complexion.

I am most attracted to certain slav and northern Eu descent guys anyway (Polish mixes, russian, dutch, one part norwegian and a tiresome Bavarian were my guys til I got me a purebred from the Podlaskie North) I find the light eyes pale tones of Polish guys more magnetic than like my own Bohemian kin who are darker hued.. and shorter usually ( I like my fella taller than my 5'8).

they are all more handsome than any anglo saxon boys I've seen, they have rounder heads and fuller faces,better skin ,much nicer bodies and some are like gentleman.

when i was in poland they helped me with my luggage and on the trams etc.

My wife finds them very handsome ;)

Polish men are average. Not too bad bad, but nothing special either...

They would look better if they would grow some hair and not walk so nervously, and if they would relax and smile once in a while. Most of them are mad looking. And once they come to America, their personality changes for the worse. They become greedy and treat other like sh!t. Same with the Polish women. I think in Poland they have this mentality that everyone in America is rich, and when they come here they step all over you to get to the top.

I don't know if this is any indication, but where I'm from, the disparity between looks of women versus men isn't nearly as evident as it is in Poland. Poland has beautiful women and I constantly found myself saying, "you gotta be kidding me, how is that girl with that guy?" I wouldn't say that the US has better looking women than Poland either so that would say to me that Polish men leave a little something to be desired on the average.

I always thought Polish guys needed a lesson in hygiene as well. Lots of messed up smiles and in class I smelled them all the time.

One day you will grow up and understand that it's not the look that women are after in a man but the way he carries himself, but for now you can just carry on asking yourself question why is that woman with him and not with me, I am so attractive or maybe I am not?

So far the only people here complaining about Polish men look are foreign males.

The OP asked a simple question, I provided a simple observation which is, if I might say, pretty dead on. I never expressed what "women are after in a man" and trying to tell me that i don't understand what women want is absolutely unrelated to this discussion.

as if there isn't a simple explanation for that? Do you expect Polish men to say much about this subject, considering they're the ones being judged right now? Do you expect foreign females to chime in, because we all know how few and far between they are in Poland. And as far as Polish women, well chances are they're either dating a Polish guy or married to one so don't expect them to be subjective either.

if all you wanted is nice things to be said about Polish guys, you should have indicated that at the beginning of the thread, I thought this was an open discussion.
