Mixed Race Relationships (Polish guy married a Filipino/Spanish)

I'm a Polish guy married to a Filipino who is also part Spanish and a little Welsh. Although my wife is obviously Asian, our kids look white just have a year long California tan more the most part! Our first even had blonde hair up until he was 16 months old. The second, a girl, has a slightly darker complexion than our first child and has darker brown hair as well, but not black. Her complexion resembles a light skinned Greek but with the slightest ever almond shaped eyes.

So, to get to my point, when I see new threads on here regarding mixed race relationships, i.e, arab/polish, asian/polish, etc., when they have kids, they'll look nothing like the white parent. Luckily for me, my wife is mixed to begin with so we had a good combo for our kids.

Also, I would like to point out that the most important thing is that our kids are healthy and have no medical conditions.

Thoughts, observations?

Sorry but I don't believe you got to any point in your commentary. It's not clear what you are looking for from the PF community regarding your family.

You said you have mixed raced children from your marriage but so what? There are mixed race children to be found probably in just about every country.

You are 100% correct.

I don't see the point in any of these kind of threads to be honest. Are people that insecure that they need the blessing of total strangers from an internet forum before they procreate? Does it matter if some narrow minded knuckle draggers disapprove of mixed race relationships let alone disapprove if people then have children in that relationship?

He just mixed his genes and heritage out of existence.

Does it matter if some narrow minded knuckle draggers disapprove of mixed race relationships

If people want to mix their genes out of existence, that is their own choice.

This lad want validation. That all is good. That his kids look white.

If it was natural, he wouldnt be asking these questions. When I see a mixed race person, I see a man without a country.

Mixed race people are put on a pedestal by the media, hollywood and do-gooders.

Yet, still. In his heart of hearts, he knows.........

We all do.

What training or education do you have, RN? I wanna know your technical bona fides before I attempt to explain the science of genetics.

not always, just depends on who has the stronger genes in either side of the family.

my dad had darker complexion and both parents were Polish, so it depends, and then me and my middle brother were born
with almost white hair ( blond) and now both of us have either brown or dark blond hair,

This lad want validation.

not really, hes just pointing out that his kids are a mix of both, healthy, which is a good thing, as we all know certain ethnic

groups have documented genetic diseases which can be passed down to the children..

you are blessed

Yes, Polish women have the highest rates of cancers and 2nd place after Russia for alcohol-abuse related death too.

Yes Charity, and alcohol related deaths are surely something passed on with gene pool. Smoke much?

alcohol related deaths

Actually, there is apparently a genetic disposition to addiction, but I guess it is the environment that really clinches it.

Studies on adopted twins, away from there alcoholic parents, have shown much higher chance (It might have been 5-6 times more likely) of the child becoming an alcoholic than enviromental factors where the chance was only slightly higher than the averge child of tea-total parenting, comparatively. Found to be true with apes also. Sorry if it reads as gobbledegook, but alcoholism is nature not nurture.

People from the far east need far less than Europeans to reach a state of inebriation (if that's your goal as an alky) and so have less chance of cirrhosis the big cause of alcohol related deaths.
