My Polish friend has a split personality - a real Jeckyl and Hyde

Follow Forum Rules or you may never have 2nd chance to chat

well i've said many things on this forum in my time here and have never had a single run in with the admin. I think i may have upset a mod once, however that was more of a personal thing rather than anything i actually did to anybody else.

I am not here to start troubles for everybody. I noticed everybody is arguing. Board told me to behave myself. So I did.

no no, i didn't say you were here to cause trouble, please do not misunderstand me, i was refering to your arrival rather than your intentions

You can always demand to know, "ARE YOU MARRIED? DO YOU HAVE ANY KIDS? NO? THEN WHAT, EXACTLY, ARE YOUR PROBLEMS?" Do this right before class starts :D

'problems in his life' but dosn't explain what these are

That seems to be a Polish trait, don't know why, but it seems like that. I hate it when they tell you: "there is trouble" or "I'm feeling bad" without telling you WHAT is going on. Don't mention it at all if you don't want to say what it is, that's what I would do anyway. Why don't you leg away from him? It seems clear that there is something else going on in the background, something you don't deserve.

Dude...the Polish guys I know are HOT, but frickin weird. One is sooo sweet, but never lets me in his head. The other I suspect is a closet gay. I dunno.....so , seeing how those are some of the only Polish guys I have met (half, actually) my experience is that half of all Polish guys are nuts, but all of them are hot. lol.

COMMENCE THE CRUCIFICTION!!!!!hahah!

You should just use him. Seems like he's doing that with you too. And don't ever take advise from wildrover, that's just a crazy institutionalized wolf.

:)

The Mini Mental State Examination

Print it out and bring to the evening class. MMSE

How do you know he is using her? He is talking to her in the class but not during his spare time. That doesn't sound like "using". It sounds like he isn't that into her for some reason. If she really really likes him, she can talk to him in class. That's probably all she'll get. It's better than nothing, if she really likes him.

What a typical female response. He'll come begging when it snows in July

sadly that is true, if they liked you they wouldn't come up with all those dumb excuses. afraid that men's mind games don't work when you try to use them against men ha ha...

my thoughts exactly, just because someone is being nice it does NOT mean that they're interested. it's usually the needy people who read all the signals wrong and they take a bit of sympathy and interest as a sign of being fancied. nope!

So young and yet so wise ;0)

why thank you my dear, one year older today ;D

PlasticPole

But that's a half-half situation which is not good for her. She obviously wants more from him than he is willing to give and eventually it'll all end in tears for her. Better to cut it off straight and let her look for someone who is genuinely interested in her instead of wasting her time with this guy. She deserves better than this.

She can look for someone who's available while being nice to this guy. I agree with both of you, it's like she is very needy and is already planning her life with this guy, seeing only what she wants to see and this guy is just being nice and social, but he has a life. Just because the guy has a wife and kids already, or a gf, doesn't mean she should hate him, start calling him a psycho, badmouthing him to others (unless he's lying and leading her on, it doesn't sound like he is, exactly). It's time to face reality.

Did he volunteer his phone number or did she get it after needling him and practically begging? Maybe he didn't want to cause trouble in the class by saying no, but he never planned to talk to her outside of the class.

No....... all men do that...those that are full of ***** that havent got the ball they were born with..nothing to do with nationality..unless as Ms J said he is married...in.. which case, his problem is his wife, who he is not prepared to talk about to a potential sh8g..this guy is weighing up his odds and / or has a conscious so this is the reason he is being the way he is! doesnt really take a genious to work out...fighting the demonds of being away from home!

To the OP..you deserve so much more!

ha ha don't we all know this behaviour, and i must admit i'm guilty of being elusive like that when i was dating someone but still wasn't 100% sure about what's best for me :P. i find that if a guy has no time for you and takes hours or days to reply he really is not worth your time because he doesn't exactly give you the time of day does he? or he's a lazy sh*t but that's not good is it. in this situation my guess is that he's got a family and he's too busy to flirt and doesn't wanna get caught. and even if if that's not the case and he expects the girl to think that one txt or one call a week filled with dumb excuses he thinks she will believe is enough... well, just think about it.

Thanks to everyone for their input - its certainly given me new perpectives on the situation...i'm sure the truth is in there somewhere. Maybe I am the psycho and have misinterpreted his friendly flirty nature as being somehting that its not.

I'll just be cool & friendly and see what happens....

Cheers,

That sounds like a cool idea.....trust me , if he is interested , you will discover it soon enough....As for what his problem is...well if you get close enough , perhaps he wil tell you...?

I have problems in life. Mafia is after me because I didn`t pay for 40 kilometers of rubber hose which I had ordered in Ukraine. And 40 tons of citric acid that I bought there but didn`t pay for was dissolved when the warehouse got flooded during stormy summer.

Don`t you see that MY problems compared to your problem of not receiving a reply to messages are really big?

You think I am kidding? It sounds funny but all I said is true.

Fortunately, currently I am in detention in a Polish prison. Safe from mafia`s long tentacles.

I hope they keep me here for a while. The director needs me because I am the only person who speaks and writes some English here. He asked me to create a website for the prison, with an English version. And I teach him English when nobody sees.

It is a good life.

And 40 tons of citric acid that I bought

Citric acid is one of the chemicals required for the synthesis of HMTD, a highly heat-, friction-, and shock-sensitive explosive similar to acetone peroxide. For this reason, purchases of large quantities of citric acid may rouse suspicion of potential terrorist activity.

What do they say about the rubber hose? Remember, I ordered 40 kilometers of it.

40 here, 40 there.... Yes, I guess it might arouse certain suspicion.

But my situation is already so bad it can`t get even worse....

Lucky you, you don`t have such problems....

Yeah, but do you attend classes where you woo strange females, handing out your phone number, telling them to call but never answering?

No, artistic decoy. It serves to cover my terrorist activity. :):):):):):)

Well, you were all right... 3 kids (why is it always 3!!??), & recently thrown out of the house by his wife/girlfriend for messing around. Claims now to be single (highly unlikely, probably just moved in with his new conquest as he never answers his phone in the evening), so obviously a compulsive player.

Jesus i know how to pick them eh? But how do I get this idiot out of my head? For some reason I have this weird irrational obsession with the bad boy despite what I am finding out about him...

Murder him with a hatchet and then post on your real account.
