well, be it lody or lody, i am sure you're not alone with your choices ;)

You should try Russian ice cream. I used to travel in to the centre of Moscow every afternoon and visit the GUM department store. Nothing there to buy except the ice cream. Simple, basic and totally unpretentious but what a lovely natural taste it used to have.

I went to this place at a mall in Wrocław, the icecream was amazing!

he is.. and we all have opinions that not everyone is going to like,, that doesnt make
us bad people at all.. opinions are inner thoughts .. its not a reflection of the person
and reason I say that is because we say one thing but do another.. so our actions
speak louder.. all in all I dont really think badly of anyone on here because when it
comes down to it. we are all humans.. and I believe that were all special in our own

I love Poland because I'm no longer stressed and constantly tired.

Because it is a true culture of oneness , diversity and the prettiest ladies..

Because unlike when we're in England when I go to Poland my wife has to do all the ordering of food and drinks when we go out. I can eat loads and get p1ssed and not even have to leave my seat. Its a little window into the female experience and I appreciate it.

Anyway, it could be me, but most of the Polish blokes I know are monolythic neanderthalers, working in construction, after 7 years in Dublin still not speak a decent word of English and generally seem to indulge in their misery, wanting to go back to Poland and in the meantime making about 800 to 900 Euros a month and sharing a house with six likewise characters. Exceptions do the rule again and I also have to say that I've met quite some intelligent, aimable Polish guys, but mostly it's as above. Generally, Polish girlies are very nice to look at, but the guys they walk beside are just gross; I always wonder what these girls see in those blokes...

It's a very shallow judgement. You haven't met decent ones and you shouldn't judge us that way. Shame on you. :(

it seems like you have little access to Polish blokes in general and you are forming your opinions walking down the street. Some Polish girls like to be with somebody who is from the same culture because it is easier. Some people like challanges, some don't. It depends where one is in life and what people feel comfortable with.
I like Polish men, beause most of them have manners and are not shallow, as some Westerners are.

Did you read the part of the aimable ones? I am trying to be as balanced in my judgement as possible, as I always am. But ppl only read what they want to read. I have about 25 Polish girlies and blokes working for me at the moment and I know quite some Polish ppl through them. So I think I can say I have a pretty good view on them. I am sorry I have to say this, but even though I know them, they still pretty much fit the description as mentioned in my previous post. And about the challenges: why go abroad if you don't like challenges? Going abroad as such is a challenge in itself and everything you do there will be more of a challenge than it would be at home. I think that if you just want to stick with ppl from your home-country, you shouldn't go abroad at all. (edit: I can understand when you want to do this in the first few months abroad, but after this one should take up the challenge and get ahead in life) This not only goes for Polish ppl, but I noticed this behaviour also with Spanish, Italian and French ppl. I base my judgements solely on my observations and experiences. The fact that I find somebody a monolythic neanderthaler does not mean that I do not like them. Au contraire. In fact the statement that you made that most of them have manners and are not shallow is one gross generalisation. There are good ppl and there are bad ppl everywhere. It's not just a priviledge of the Polish ppl to have this distinct advantage.

I don't know what you are talking about. I was merely addressing the fact that some people like to stick to their own culture and there is nothing wrong with it.

There is nothing wrong with sticking to your own culture, of course. But you can stick to your own culture while interacting (not only on a workrelated basis) with ppl from different cultures as well. It's called Global Village :) And I encourage this as it will lead to more understanding and tolerance, I guess. And to an enrichment of any culture in the world.

Yeah, that's a good point - discussing this topic is pointless; what basically said is that Polish ppl are better/worse than other ppl, which is nonsense: there are gorgeous chicks in or from Poland and there are hidious chicks in/from Poland; just like there are *ssholes and good guys from Poland. Just like everywhere else in the world. Does anybody realise that threads like this are basically racist in nature? I like my lady a lot and the fact that she happens to come from Poland, doesn't make this any different than if she would've come from Sweden or Australia or where ever.

Tornado! You don't have to go to Europe to see a skirt in the summer. Anyone in the US is used to this . Perving is a dangerous word. It denotes unaceptable behavior. the reason to visit another country is to enjoy the personalities of the people and the culture. Are you suggesting men actuallly sit around and just stare at women in poland? Sounds very lonely to me.
