There was a video from youtube posted on here about a man doing exactly that [and filming them walk by..], it wasn't nice.

lol i'm not suggesting that at all, i mean when your on a night out or a day at the beach, you may take an extra few seconds looking the way of a girl who takes your fancy.

I will never let some virtual thing like a forum influence my opinion about ppl. I ALWAYS take person per person and somebody who claims otherwise is a liar. I wish everybody would see all this what it actually is: a virtual platform, it is not real. That some ppl use it to post cr*p only goes to show what cowards they generally are. In real life they would never dare to say such a thing. Knowing this, I do not take internet related things like chats, fora serious in that I do not let it influence my life. It's entertainment and if somebody says something smart, it's a welcome bonus, but unfortunately there are a lot of ppl who are just boring with their predictable behaviour. Be the free spirit that you are and remain free as this world is free.M-G

sure, that applies to you too. We are alll more brave on the internet, my brother;)

I ignore him these days, same as I would some silly prick in a bar who was annoying me... ;-)

I loved poland because it brought back memories of when I was child and how things used to be in the UK, lots of white weddings on a saturday and people dressed nicely coming out of church on a sundy - sometimes the simple things are the nicest....Poland is still like an inocent child...

that is why I moved out, I could not fit in;)

On the serious note: you are right Shell, innocence is still there and it is not always a bad thing. We become so disenchanted in the West - what a pity.

Innocent - that's such a nice description of it.

I reckon I'd like it there then.

Might go in May.

Hey! I only react to you because you are saying every now and then something that makes sense, unlike Shelley, who is actually in love with me and is trying her little game by ignoring me - so transparent... :)

M-G (funny how these females always think they're on the upper hand - just by playing along with them. Ah well, I just let them:) )

About the canadian thing thats a very broad generalization about the difficulty level of classes in the US compared to canada. My high school was one of the best in cali with many of its grads going to HBYS schools. I lived in a pretty international part of town and went to school with a few Canadians. They went from being top students in their Ontario high school to being B and C students at my high school. It really depends on wat school you are in.

I know, I meant to say many. I was actually surprised at some of them (ie Columbia).

I don't know about your school (I don't even know where you went) but I do know that this is a common practice for many law schools. The reason I started to look into it was because I know so many people that went to the US for those reasons. I'm thinking about a few schools in Miami, for obvious reasons :)

grade point average at Uni - school smart doen's mean life smart, or does it?

I think it depends a lot on the person. I know some people that have very high GPAs in school but are pretty much retarded in life. But then, there are many that had high GPAs and are successful in many aspects of life. Its the same thing as saying that all people that do poorly in school are successful in life or 'life smart' - possibly true, but not necessarily .

I love Poland because....of the beautiful sunsets and shooting stars! (at least in the country)

ETA:
Plus, if your girlfriend only does things on YOUR impulses (cook, clean,...the other thing) than she can't be that smart.

Thats true EandB! Obviously the girl lost her own brain along the way somewhere!
