Malgorzata: Hello from Ontario, Canada

Hello from Canada!
I was looking for recipes for "sernik" when I found this site! It looks very interesting!
Both my parents are from Poland. My mother from the Poznan area and my late father from Grujec area and Warszawa. I still have family and friends in Poland. I was born in England after the war and came to Canada at 18 months. My parents settled in Ontario where I received my schooling. My parents taught us Polish and I have used it for many years. I speak, read and write it, though I am getting rusty because I do not use it enough now. I have been to Poland twice, once in 1992 for Veteran's Reunion with my father and again with my Canadian husband right after 9/11. Actually the Saturday of the same week! Both times I was on an "ORBIS" Tour and loved every minute. I also visited with friends and family. I hope to go again someday, but who knows? I was wondering if anyone from Lebork might be online here? I have some close friends there.
