are you marrying a polish girl for passport? Shame on you man!

You first have to become a Polish citizen.
Before you marry a Polish woman, you need an Ok from the Polish court system. That takes about a month if everything is in order, then you can marry her. Then you need to "zameldować się" which means you have to register where you live. And that takes about a month. You need your birth certificate translated into Polish, and if you were ever married and divorced you will need all those documents translated into Polish by a certified translator. Then you get registered in another place. then you wait about 6 months or less for a passport.

That's done here in the US too. People pay up to 20.000,00 for a Visa. I figure, as long as they're here they might as well work and be productive.

Uk , calm down. People do it now and were doing before. You can't change it.
it is better not judge anyone. Some people do it as business but both sides agree.

Someone accused me here that I married for british passport and than my husband must be at least 20 year older( and I guess ugly). it is so little true in it. he is only 1 year older, not ugly
I will never apply for British passport as I am polish and probbaly in a few years we will come back to Poland. I don't really need british passport .

It's up to Poland who they want to give passports to. If Poland gives citizenship to other nationalities, it's Poland's decission and responsibility.
If two people really love each other, but they live in different countries and want to be together, let them.
We all die sooner or later. Why not make somebody happy. If the girl is taken advantage of, and if she won't listen to warnings, then it's her responsibility and a lesson in life.

I know of somebody who lives in the US and loves a person in Poland, but cannot be together. Like Romeo and Julia. The American Embassy refused to give that person a visa to come to the US.
Now they are trying other ways to be together.
The harder it takes to be with the one you love, the more you want to be together.

Hi madzia. Your dude has to be married to you for 3 years to obtain Polish citizenship and then a passport. He has to live there during that period of time, meaning he has to be registered at an address in Poland, called "zameldowany".
