Hey I'm new here. I found this forum looking for some info on my name. My last name is Jakelski. I wanted to know anything on it. My grandfather was a polish citizent that came over with his parents and had a brother that spelled it a different way but he had died in the 50's and doesn't know how he spelled it and if it was correct. We have a family crest but its at my dads. All i know is that it had two wolves or dogs on it.

I my self am looking for information on the last name of Zuwala. My grandfather was born in Poland.
The story goes that his family could not afford to keep him where he lived, so they told him to leave.
We all knew him as George, but someone called him Wojcieh (Albert).
As to this day, I have no clue about his past.
So any information is helpful.
