Fun guy from California is New to Poznan!

Hi everyone,

I just moved to Poznan for work a week ago. Great place. The city has a great energy and is quite beautiful. Very happy to be here.

Anyway, I'm looking to make as many friends (guys or girls) as quickly as possible. In fact, it would be great to meet groups of friends and enjoy the nightlife (I'm cool with bars or clubs...very flexible).

About me...I'm a good looking, fun guy from California (27).

Looking forward to hearing from some cool Poznan people.

Come to our Language Exchange Club meetings in Poznan -

7pm until 12am at The Vikings Pub, ul. Murna 3 (located 1 minute from Stary Rynek), every Thursday :)

http://www.thevikings.pl is the website of the pub, and when you arrive, just ask for the Couchsurfing/Language Exchange Club group. Or just ask people in the pub - though on Thursdays, 99% of people there will be for the meeting.

Off the top of my head, last week, there was around 40 people - from Croatia, Argentina, Poland, the UK, Russia and more. It's truly an international affair at times ;)

Those meetings at the Vikings Pub are reserved only for foreigners, or everyone is welcome (I'm polish)?

I unfortunately can't help you because I live in Opalenica (38 km from Poznan). I think that this is a better city than Poznan, because there is organizonany every year, "Remes Cup", the second biggest football tournament in Europe. Portugal will sleep in Opalenica at Euro 2012 ;D

Ah, because many people go away at the weekends - Thursday was specifically chosen as most people could make it on that day :)

We meet on Saturdays too, usually - but the Thursday meeting is the only one with the set time/place every single week.

If you're on Facebook - look for "Language Exchange Club Poznan" and "CS Poznan" groups - you'll find all the details there :)

I live in Poznan all my life, and as the matter of fact,i was always wondering where foreigners tend to meet.
