Right, seeing as quite a few members like to talk the talk, let's see if they can really walk the walk.

I'm inviting any PF member to come to Poznan for a drink. Nothing sinister, just a nice friendly drink in a nice friendly environment. Of course, I'll choose the environment (tough guys shouldn't be afraid - after all, they're tough, right?) in which we drink - it's only right that the host chooses a venue.

So, who wants to take me up on the offer?

Come on, I'm from Scotland too, we'll get someone else to pay :D

Yoo-hoo, tough guys, where are you?

This is ridiculous, I post an open invitation for tough guys to come and visit, and none of them want to!

Hahahahahahaha :D

Actually, I see a lot in common between PF tough guys and people in the "hardcore" music scene in Scotland - a lot of wannabe tough guys, but none of them can walk the walk. I once saw a rather amusing fight in the cathouse (don't ask...friends were playing some really awful gig there) where those "hardcore" tough guys were doing their shitty hardcore dancing, only to get beaten up by a few neds :D

Yoo hoo, tough guys - I'm waiting for you!

All mouth and no action - what a surprise :(

Well it is a bit far from me Mike, but if you are ever down Pulawy way, I think you described it as some backwater or something like that... I am big enough to share a beer or two with you.
Genuine offer!

Jeez, I was actually in Naleczow this summer as well - we saw Pulawy from the train! It actually looked quite nice and not a backwater at all - so I'll officially admit to being completely wrong. Must be nice being so close to Warsaw as well...

But likewise, if you're ever up here, give me a shout :)

(by the way, ever been threatened by someone to give them access to TVC from abroad "or else"?)

Typical, Delph practically challenges the entire forum and the only respondents are "nice guys"

LOL

So the only way to get a drink out of you is to threaten you?

In that case next time you're in Krakow, I'll kick your arse all around the market square!

Do more threats get me more beer?

Do stronger threats get me shots?

You really have to be more pacific Delphiandomine, I am not a tough guy but for free beer I could pretend.

Nah, blocking is for p*ssies. I don't block anybody, I don't believe in censorship. Plus blocking is a sign of weakness.

Won't be coming to Poznan though, doctor has forbidden me to drink any alcohol for a long time, so there's no point in drinking mineral water or a diet coke in Poznan. Besides, I'd be doing quite some travelling in the next few months for my new job: UK, NL, US. But thanks for the invite, Delph, would be happy to come otherwise.

Guess Ireland's bancrupcy leads ppl to wander abroad again.

>^..^<

M-G (darn, I must be good: quit my job on a Friday, got a new job the next Monday - in the midst of the worst crisis ever in a country that's officially bancrupt)

Sorry, but having certain qualifications has nothing to do with being good in times of crisis. (Chapeau for getting your degree though.)

A lot of truth in this, I've had about 4 nurses applying from Ireland in only this week.
