Dear All,

The school is about to start and WE would like to help children from the orphanage to go there with good equipment.

We will meet at Legends Bar,
ul.Emili Plater 25,
and collect all the stuff you want to share with those kids.

If you also have not used clothes, toys or anything you can think of that yould be useful for children feel free to bring it with you.

The donated gifts will be given to orphanage 120 km away from Warsaw in Gostynin (beetwen Kutno and Płock) with approx 100 children in age 3-18. Some of the children are disabled.

Warsaw Entertain would like to help the foundation – Lepsze Zycie ( Better Life ) which organises diffent kind of egupiment needed by the kids and the founder of the fundation will be with us on the event.

If you also have not used clothes, toys or anything you can think of that yould be useful for children feel free to bring it with you. Why would you turn down clothing or toys ( used ) if they are in good condition ?

Why would you turn down clothing Seems like gently worn kid's clothing should be useful. Especially since children outgrow them so quickly. A sincere thanks PF, for putting up with me FIVE terrific years, muah!

Not to talk about my Charideee work,but, have helped in the past with shoe box appeals here in the UK and I can understand why they ask for unused toys and clothes.
While some people are completly generous and sensible and do donate items fit for purpose far too many people see a quick fix "make me feel better" moment, you would be amazad at the sort of utter junk that can be donated,broken toys and greying old pants and vests with holes in,its not funny the amount of stuff like that.
Another reason can be that frankly,even if the clothes are only "lightly worn" the fact is that these days most kids clothes are so cheaply made (by kids...) that the tend to fall apart after a few washes.
Can I just add one more thing? Anyone going,please dont forget the age range,Id say a good 90% of stuff that gets donated to these places is aimed at the under 10s,the poor teenagers seem to be forgoton more often than not :(
