That's good. I'm happy for you. I have to wait about 2 more months before I get to see mine. :-(

Haha, love is such a good thing isn't it? I haven't seen my baby since the 20th of May and I am supposed to get back to Germany around the 26th of September. Then I have some stupid appointments I have to take care of and then I'm off to Wroc³aw for three weeks!!! :-) I am also going to load a lot of hugs and kisses upon her. My flight gets there early morning and I already told her that first day I'm back we're not leaving the bedroom. ;-)

Definitely, my web cam and SKYPE are busy on the weekends, when I can take a pick at most of my family in Poland. All for free.
I used to pay AT&T 0.99 cents a minute to call Poland, or write a long letter.
If I need to call now, it cost me 0.049 cents only, so we can talk until I'm blue in the face :)

Hey Eurola, if you use Vonage it's only 1 cent a minute to call Poland, that's how I talk to my baby all the time!!! :-)

Nananananana....just kidding...was just talking to BW today and realized it cost me 24 cents per minute to call his cell in Poland, but only 2 cents per minute to call a land line....it's also different for him, so I guess it depends on the country in which the call is originating from....

For me to call Anna at home it's 1 cent a minute but to call her cell phone it's like 31 cents a minute so yeah it depends on the type of phone you are calling to.

I'm still resisting Vonage because is internet based. My internet is spotty last 2 months and I'm fighting with comcast. 50 bucks a month and they can not find what's wrong. I just "went of the air" few minutes ago... and, then it comes back like nothing happened. I had no problem for the last 4 years, just last 2 months.

Your ISP could've easily just upgraded their equipment and could be having issues with it or it could be a degradation in the fiber in the ground. Sorry that's my tech geekiness coming out, comes along with the job I guess. I know what you mean though, my internet back in Germany is great, I have a 6 mb connection but here in Bahrain I'm sharing a dsl connection with other renters in my apartment building and it's so slow and I don't always get good reception on my phone. And if I am talking to my girlfriend on her cell phone in a bus or a tram, it just gets worse.

I asked them to change the modem, but the tech said the modem is fine...Yes, I enjoy 6 mb too and can't imagine going for anything less than that. The cables are old and maybe there is an occasional worm crawling over it...i.e. a certain poster named M. :)
