Puzzler replied to Carla with this, "An excellent advice Carla (provided the advised is a human being and can understand what you mean)."

and you replied with, "Yes, Carla, what do you mean?"

When Puzzler directed that last post to you, he said you would know the context when you were here a little longer, then he proceeded to give the context of which Carla's post was based on......

I have not read all the posts here but beware of the Puzzler-he is a real idiot and I suspect that at least two people are helping him write these strange posts of his. I for one do not believe that the British are particularly racist but are probably sick and tired of having hundreds of thousands of Poles 'forced' upon its inhabitants.

From my experience, most people whose opinions I can ascertain, don't care one way or the other.

Or more likely, they do not even know what this supposed mentality is, what lifestyles there are, or what traditions there might be.

Not macho. I argue for what I believe in. My arguments are logical. If they weren't I'd keep my mouth shut (or my fingers still).

E.g. people in UK seem to appreciate Russian culture, especially literature. They don't know much about Polish culture, but seem to be open, especially now, to exploration. I haven't noticed any 'cultural' dislike towards us, or anybody else, in them. Besides, the great Norman Davies has helped to break the negative Cold War image. More and more British visit and even settle in Poland. The times are a-changin', mate.
