Hi everybody,

I am a U.S. business school student contemplating an internship in Krakow. I wanted to learn how much living expenses would amount to per month for living and dining.

I dont plan on living in dingy places nor do I wish to eat Polish food everyday. I would greatly appreciate if someone could give me an estimate of how much life in poland costs as an expatriate with the above preferences?

Thanks for your help and advice.

P

LOL, well you can expect to eat a lot of it seeing as you are going to Poland! Try it, you'll love it! I'm sure there is food of many nationalities though!

Mr W, this doesnt have a clue about what he's talking about, but there is a McDonnals in Krakow so he should feel quite at home!

But if he doesnt go out every night and eat out every nice I would expect about 2,000 $ should do him just fine.

Gyros is not the best food you can get in Krakow. I would rather say it's one of thing you shouldnt eat in Krakow

I have freinds who spend 1200 per month for everything with housing... it jus me, I just make money fly :/:/

No BK
Yes they serve on pita. You can get it with tzatziki or ostra Personally I like the hot sauce because the GF can't stand the lingering garlic smell

sheesh kebab

Shish kebab (ºiº kebap in Turkish) is a wooden or metal stick (a skewer in Turkish) with small cubes of any kind of meat, fowl, fish, fruit, or vegetable (usually a combination) which is roasted on a grill. The name literally means 'skewer of grilled meat' in Turkish.[2] Typical vegetables included are eggplant, tomato, bell pepper, onion and mushrooms. The similar Greek food is called Souvlaki or Kalamaki.

What kind of internship will you be doing? I'm a US business communications student... I was thinking of looking for an internship since I'll be in Krakow anyway, how did you find yours?
