How much do you HATE POLISH PEOPLE and POLAND

hehe thats stirring it a bit :) (but it got your attention:P)

I love em to be honest but ive realized that over the past few weeks that it has seen many anti Polish sentiment. Sentiment that is largely based on Racial fear and ignorance.

This can be said of any group of people. For I note that some Poles hate Germans and Russians (no it is not different - people all claim to be JUST in hating another race)

I would be interested to hear your views on Racism in General. BY POLISH and BY OTHER NATIONALITIES (not necessarily against poles)

The Irish would have held this view against the English and vice versa not so long ago BUT that has subsided to a sporting rivallry and we are 'best buddies' now.

i have respect for them Daffy (as you know)

But i do hear when im out and about people dissing the polish but they diss anyone really ... what i find interesting is this attitude has been created by society over the past few years and the 1st generation of polish people into the UK originally back in the 1940s during the resettlement of the polish people never met this kind of attitude.

When Poles hate someone then It's OK, but somebody, who hate us should be crushed.

I hate those who refuse to learn about people before they make generalizations.

I think hate is a strong word, I think that people are very concerned about the number of Polish people coming work here (here being the UK) IMHO.

your not 'stealing' British jobs , we have a manpower shortage in this country, which is good for you and we're glad to offer them to you!!!!!!

it doesn't make sense seriously. but it is true also. sometimes, people just hate another race for no reason. hate is the only reason for that. one polish friend told me that poland had been under rusian's control for a long time, maybe that's part of the reason? i don't know and i'm not talkin about politics here.
what is worse in china is, people from north don't like people from south, and people from south don't like people from north. i'm from beijing, the capital of china, as i know, lots of beijing people hate people from Shanghai (another big city in china). and for me, i don't like shanghai people as well. but i have strange situation. my grandma and grandpa are from shanghai, they like boys more than girls, and because i'm a girl, they don't treat my mum and i well. it's not fair. whatever, i think there are still some good guys in shanghai.

so it's common for british people to judge polish people in their way. but all polish guys please show them your talent and prove you are the best to shut their mouth up. :-)

Well said, Hyypia......... also we must remember that a lot of changes have happened over the last 20 years in Europe, the rise of the E.U and China. Many different people and cultures are now able the mix together for the first time, which can give great opportunities for all of us, but also can make us fearfull of the future of our own cultures and independance!!

Ok, this problem is everywhere. Here in the states people judge all the Mexicans because they cross the boarders. I just know one thing just because one person is an a_whole doesn't mean that everyone else from the same country is. I had a bad experience with a fellow at work from Mexico and after that I was weary of all Mexicans, but realized that I am not giving a chance to others who are totally opposite. It took me awhile but now I know that I can't judge everyone based on my one bad experience.
It's like a relationship we have our good and bad ones but it's our desicion to chose what we do with it.

maybe the hate is more based on the fact that imagrants to any country is usaully hungery to exsist and support their families. I was first gereration polish-american and my parents taught me to work hard and appriate life. My boses have always complented me on my work ethic and I am always picked for projects, because they know I will get it done no matter what.

Please don't if you're going to take stuff like this to heart. We don't need another winer. If you've been here long enough to see what types of things are being said about PL working in the UK and stealing jobs, maybe you'd understand his sense of humor....which of course I'm used to by now.
