England.... we win

Looks more like the Republic of Ireland won.

France... didn't they limit the number of Polish workers entering France when the UK and Ireland didn't?
Correct me if I'm wrong, please.

And most of those of irish origin!

Most of them probably.

Quoting: Ronek
You're also caunting poles that came to the UK recently ;)

Probably some of those too.

Catholicism is gaining ground in the UK whereas other denominationsd are actually falling, so it's not just Irish, Polish and so on.

its the only thing you've won this last 41 yrs then?...

There was some rugby thing a couple of years ago. Not that I give a monkey's...

Anyway, it's not as if the UK is genuinely popular with Poles, I wouldn't have thought.

I am thinking of those who get a series of bad jobs, go home disillusioned, tell their friends and families how bad it can be, then get asked what countries they like in a survey. The ones who get the best deal out of the UK are still here, earning money and enjoying themselves and not being asked silly questions in Poland (people might be asking them silly questions here instead).

Why is not Norway on the list? With 120000 poles working in Norway i would have thought they also liked Norway :)
We had 75000 poles working on norway last year ,now we have 120000. It's bound to be something they like here :)

Yes we can, and I expressed my opinion. IMHO making this kind of list is a pointless waste of money.

Still hasn't stopped people coming/returning.....remember for the under 25s....they have none of these opportunities at the minute....not everyone can have a positive experience...thats life!

Why is not Norway on the list?

Yeah, i was wondering too...as Norway never really attacked Poland (that may explain why Sweden is not in the list either, even if most of people do like Sweden...).
Norway was ruled by Sweden and Denmark before recovering its independace in 1905 (or around this time...), almost like Poland who was ruled by Germany, Prussia and so on and who became independent in 1918...
Today's relations between Poland and Norway are really good :)
And both cuisines use a lot potatoes...hehe
The reason may come from the last football game between Poland and Norway : 3-0 for Poland...but even in that case, Poles have no reason to dislike Norway (which i'm sure is untrue, Norway is a great country).

Okay so let's begin a PF list of favourite countries :) LoL

Norway

A list of the most unpopular countries may actually have some overlap.
I doubt anywhere like Norway would be included again though.

Chile - never been there, but I like it because it's so long and has Monkey Puzzle trees (Araucaria araucana)
Svalbard (or is it Spitzbergen?) - it's not a nation state, but so what, this is my list. How northerly can you get?
Mali - okay, so I probably wouldn't like it - too hot for starters, but I like Ali Farka Toure, Amadou & Mariam, other Malian music, so why not?
Wales - I've had so many holidays there, I must like it.
Poland - I'd be in trouble for not mentioning it.
England - ditto.
