Bratwurst Boy:
I'm still not clear if that's a degradation...

For Oberschlesiern who feel Germans, not Poles, it is.

Polson:
They say Poles controlled Ukrainians (back in like the King's day in Poland).

and that's your fault you see because you were directly involved and they definitely suffered as a direct result of your actions.

Gosh it's sad and pathetic what people come out with to justify their feelings- something quick and easy that doesn't take too much honesty or thought.

ukrainians liked Polish king. They didn't like Polish nobels and Jews ... what is interesting Jeremi Wisniowiecki (bad Pole in Ukrainian history) was polonisated Ukrainian who wanted so save his privilages. When Polish king wanted to give Ukrainians the same rights as Lithuanians he decided to deal with it with "fire and sword" as a Pole. Polish king died and he had his moment to save his privilages. What is interesting ...

... nowadays Poles are the most loved nation on Ukraine.

intersting analise of Polish Ukrainian relationship (it is form 2003 and it is important):

Poles and Ukrainians, Poland and Ukraine
The Paradoxes of Neighbourly Relations

IMO in 2008 realtions are much better than in 2003

Polson:
Polish people have always been a nation, even when they had no country, that's the definition, a group of people that share a common culture, language, religion, etc.

In most, modern, mainstream, native English nation = country 'kraj'.
Poland is a nation. Polish people are a nationality or an ethnic group.

The overlap of ethnic Poles and Polish nationals is very high but not universal. Ethnic Poles may be citizens of any country and Polish nationals (defined as a citizen of the Republic of Poland) are not necessarily ethnic Poles.

Gypsies are an ethnic group (more accurately a number of ethnic groups) spread out over many countries and forming a majority in none.
Jewish people are a ethno-religious group that form a majority in one country but the term Israeli and Jewish are not interchangeable.
Arab is a cover term for a number of different nationalities and ethnic groups that form majorities in a number of countries.

Calling Poles, Gypsies, Jews and Arabs 'narody' in Polish is correct usage. Calling them all 'nations' in English creates too much potential misunderstanding where the word has too many potential meanings.

Well to be honest; I'm not sure 100% on what you're really indicating on here...?? All I asked you if could please re-explain to me on what you meant; is just wasn’t clear for me. Sorry =//

I am not judging anybody here; I am stating what I’ve seen here and heard from others (the Ukrainians themselves too). I, personally, could not care less! =P I get along with everybody else easily....Ukrainians or not lol :))

...but again could you please enlighten me here? On what exactly you were trying to say?

evidence that 10% of polish hate jews
i dont think 10% of jews hate poles but maybe your not worth our time saying that it could be jealousy.
a polish jew and a polish non jew have a few distinctions, jewish poles ran organized crime in america thruout the 1920's-1930's (meyer lansky, dutch schlutz, abe reimes etc)
jews have the courage to stick up for ourselves and meyer lansky

it doesn't mean hate. I don't think that 30% of Polish people hate Russians. I think that because of some historical argues some people have negative feelings when it comes to some nations. I wouldn't call it "hate".
