Need advice about truth or secret

Czesc! I am wondering if I should keep something to myself or not. I was once married long ago. My current g/f has never asked if I have ever been married. She has said in conversation that dating a guy that has been married is usually trouble. So far so good. I know she would react in a bad way as she would see this as "lying". She thinks that not telling someone something is the same as lying. I do not agree completely. Am I wrong to think that this info is better kept secret? I know people usually find out things by accident. Not sure what to do. Maybe I am just being a wuss. Comments? Thanks.

You need to be honest with your girlfriend. You should tell her about your previous marriage as soon as possible. The longer you wait to tell her, the more upset she may become with you.

Why would she not accept that you have been married before? The idea that previously married men are trouble is an unfair accusation. You shouldn't have to hide something like that just to win her love. She should love you for who you are. Definitely tell her now. If she leaves you, she wasn't going to be strong enough to handle a real relationship anyway.
