Edinburgh, near the Uni -

Salisbury Green - Actually on campus £69 a night
URL
Nice B&B - £55 ( might be cheaper - phone and negotiate )
URL
Recommended hotel on the South Side- 10 Hill Place. Quote says £140 a night but you should get it for around £100.

Whats your budget ?
If it is around £60 or less I would steer clear of the hotels and go for a Bed and Breakfast.
Accommodation in E'burgh is expensive.
Threre are plenty of good Guest Houses in the Mayfield and Cameron Toll area. There are good bus routes so I wouldnt worry about transport.

Thanks for that. She's looking for sth inexpensive:) She's lloking into staying at a hostel, but I'm not too sure about those places. I've never stayed. She said there was one by a campus called Bruntsfield Hostel. Anything I should know about this place?

I know where the building is, its in a good location and looks OK from the outside. I dont know what its like on the inside but I think it is part of the SYHA network so it will be one of the better hostels.

Ok, I'm going to have her try the B&B first. She said a lot of the places are booked.

Thanks again
