I am from the United States and would like to know a little bit more about Poland. I am in college and am a marketing Major. I have a big project and have to market a product in theory to your country. I have been looking stuff up and was thinking a a hot drink such as tea would be able to market well. I was wondering if anyone would like to help me with this. I need help coming up with target markets your interests in Poland and if you would think this would work ? Anything responses would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Just to start you off.

Polish folk like their tea. And because of this you would have a problem getting them to change brands.

If this is in theory does it really matter what you pick and if they would buy it? Who is gonna know...it's not real.

Sounds like it is more about your marketing plan than the product.

You have that is true a very big project, because you have not yet identified what product would be appropriate or in demand in a country as Poland. It's not sufficient to think that you can just look at one commodity like tea for example. Think you need to do a little bit more homework before the project can move forward ?

The thing is you are looking at very basic marketing principles first and foremost and should be applying those. I'm sure you know what they are if you are a 'marketing Major" ?

I'm sure when you have done a bit more work yourself and are a bit clearer than maybe someone on here could give you pointers on the logistics of then moving the product in a country like Poland.

Good Luck. :)

Some ideas maybe:
When I lived in Poland I was in shock they still drank instant coffee and almost nobody sold coffee to go!
Burritos! good fast cheap Mexican food the key word here is "Good"
Good Pizza like from New York would sell like crazy, Poles put ketchup on Pizza.
automatic train ticket machines! you can wait hours as Babcia asks for tickets and train times for the next five years, and PKP doesn't care if its overbooked anyway.
laundromats
t-shirts with Polish writing on them
automatic billpay offices
Chocolate chip cookies(or any good cookies for that matter) biscuits? in English.
There are a few ideas should make you millions

If i wanted to advertise something in poland though it would have to have alcohol in it! B/c poles like to drink and the drinking age there is very low! Poles also like twix bars alot LOL.
