Have you ever heard of 'Old World charm'? Polish men and women are the best example.

Highly intelligent.

Resilient and courageous.

But I don't suppose you know what I'm talking about, do you.

I find it hard to get information in Poland. Everytime I go to a secritary for info they point me in another direction...it ends up being a big circle. Other than that...customs has a dificult time with my passport and feel the need to flip through the pages over and over and over again.

Sod ....stereo types..........everyone is different.........but we certainly can exhibit national traits...habits...ways of doing things......

If Poland its people were so awful then the state/people would never have existed, become a sovereign nation...they do plenty of things well.......and a few not so well....just like USA, UK, Russia....etc.......

Excellent soldiers (at least in the past), horses and horseriding were always in a special place in Poland.

Non-violent or aggressive toward other nations, interested in arts and music, excellent work ethic, fun loving (singing/dancing), generally a happy nation regardless of hardship endured...

There are simply many good remarks here, but I just wonder how many of them come from non-Poles? As an absolutely non-Polish person, I think the praises from outside are more insightful!

From my own personal experience, the Poles that I know are very smart---3 Physicians, 1 Lawyer, 1 Nurse Practitionor, 4 Nurses and 1 Aerospace Physicist (that's from 2 different families that I know).

From a Non-Pole: I'd say they're lively, talkative, very direct, resourceful and of course we can't forget the Beautiful Women...!

Very true. Too back up the opinion about Polish men being excelent soldiers I will quote Napoleon Bonaparte : "For my Poles, nothing is impossible"
