British took millions of people from the 3rd world, lately I've hear that there's a million of Frenchies in UK, but looks like only Poles are "stealing the jobs". And a few days ago they made a big news out of some guy living in a closet... One could wonder If British deserve a good treatement from us.

a generalisation again G. you cannot lambast all british due to one of its media or even a few individuals.

The poles were living in a council toilet in one story and there are stories about all kinds of things in the BBC your just homing in on the select few that 'prove' your point.

check bbc.co.uk/news and see all the matter that they report on. its not polonophobic at all.

Are you sure that anything, which begin "One could wonder" could be a generalisation ?

And the point is that If you read the articel, you will find out that "someone said that someone said that some of them are belived to be Polish construction workers"... (which btw is rather idiotic as anyone doing even the worst job in construction definately don't have to live in a closet) and of course the headline is screeming "Poles live in the closet". Why not "British live in the closet" ?

And "one" has a full right to wonder whatever he wants.

because the story wasn't about british living in the toilet. it was about polish...
I read the article

then so does the British and Polish people. but i would never incinuate in any terms changing behaviour to a race en mass due to an article you pre-selected and ignoring all other articles thinking they are being polonophobic

And what did you find out ? That someone said that someone said something ? According to this logic we may write articels that British eat s*it.

Because Polish media is so perfect? give me a break - all media do things that 100% of people will not agree with it!

is still not a reaction i agree, wondering or not - i wouldnt entertain such a ridiculous reaction over ONE article

Just remember guys...media types are only one strata above criminal types........will do ANYTHING for a story...the more damaging, dirty, salacious, heartbreaking...the better.....

Just don't become a victim...nor indeed believe 1/10th of what you read/see/even witness ( Police reckon only 1 in 10 people who "witness" something can actually relay the actual event....!!!!!!!)...........are we ALL agreed?

indeed G but the BBC is not a polonophobic institution. Im trying to highlight that point. it writes thousands of articles on MANY issues. and does not merit wondering about changing Poles views of the British public. so don't **** me off either i could say :)

I believe it is inferred. If you believe otherwise, we can leave it at that rather than a circular arguement

i didn't work for BEEB (whatever it is).

the BEEB is what the BBC (British Broadcasting Company) is often referred to or the company that makes the TV licence fee go up each year as it refuses to show Adverts/Commericals on its channels.

mass destruction of faithless?

not a bad track actually by Faithless like some of their material (Rollo the voice dude of Faithless is in fact singer Dido's brother)

Nothing in the media is ever clear cut or perfect to be honest ... Media is something that society relies upon in more ways than some ... and the Media is also the biggest cause of "moral panic" in society as well as it goes OTT on subjects and often over exaggerates stories.
